David, you open a Mantis for version 3x... is not listed at 4x you need to "move a little" the texture editor windows to have the material OVER the Texture Editor display... and not UNDER it If you do it, works //edit try first to open Texture Editor And then select a Material is about overlaped Windows...

sorry im lost -again- What is exactly Material and Object in 3DC How are named outside 3DC in another apps ? for I/O like maya, mudbox, zb, lw, softimage, 3dmax, modo or blender ?

Ty blobby i had used Dynotopo for some small projects and found Sculptris code implementation superior to Blender atm. May be in a future development surpass it ? i duno anyway The last B12 with LC code more stable is far superior to any other sculpt experience (from my POV)

what about memory used by undo ? I found undo slow looks like 3DC was constant looking for files in Undo folder, i duno...

Ty Chris I tested it... now i can change the status of reports made by another users, after test it if are listed -like resolved- in the changelog. ty I found that some new reporters are enthusiast to made new ones... but lack time or perseverance to test if their reports was resolved and... go to mantis, find it and change the status. Is at this point where the admin can help for sure... tedious yeah, but needed
