Sorry i dont know how to change in Mac. In windows you need to change registry I suppose in Mac may be you need to edit options.xml file (It's located in your OS user profile folder) And there is a Mantis request open to let the users to change the folder path in preferences: http://3d-coat.com/mantis/view.php?id=1045

transparent all painted model: erase zones of layer0 -warning note: just erase painted grey content... do NOT delete layer- Transparent voxel layer: make a new shader Use default layer like base mesh RMB construct new shader opacity: 1 is full opacity 0 is full transparent

What i learned If the mesh is not entirely symmetrical... avoid to use Symmetry. I found some bugs resolved, but by respect cant close a request opened by another reporter. This option is useful to redirect software paths and control disk usage. ty

Sorry a new question PollySong, you worked at Battlefield game ? cool man... ------ Take note that 3DC have not sculpt layers like mudbox, neither ZB subdivisions... (there is possibilities to have sculpt layers after V4 release, but we need to wait the roadmap) the workflow is very different... you can work over cached Proxy Visualization.
