  1. Hi! Really looks outstanding. It is really big achievement. But ZB has one advantage why realtime preview is possible. Multi Z-buffer based drawing not entirely based on GPU allows z-sorting and it leads to possibility of realime previrew of booleans. With purely GPU rendering does not allow it... Andrew
  2. Can you share the model ? Which workflow are you using ? Metalness and Specular are two different ways of working. Do you apply UV-set and bake before switch back to Paint Room ?
  3. It is possible that your voxel/surface mode object is hiding the baked normal map model. If this is the case under the View window deselect "show voxels in paint room" I have been able to achieve much higher quality by using a combination of high resolution textures and a nice high resolution mesh/UV.
  4. Create a new Project pressing Shift + M > Switch to Paint UV Mapped... option selecting any default models.. Use fill tool. Can fill the whole object ?
  5. Latest version have great improvement on textures quality, give it a try. Bake Ambient Occlusion again using this command and this parameter, i always avoid to use AO option when bake from retopo Room. Calculate Occlusion in Paint room make better maps. Hope this help.
  6. Use the command Delete All Unused Layers to delete it. Try adding a new layer on top and hand paint something, is working ?
  7. Hi Color, Specular and Normal map channels are check ? Main colors selector is block ? -press over with RMB to blockin/out- Is there any layer blending at top ?
  8. Hi Vanya ! Try these steps: 1) Go to Camera->Customize navigation (see attached picture) 2) Change hotkeys according to your likes (see attached picture) 3) Make sure you haven't got same hotkey for different actions! Hope that helps

  10. This is a realtime preview, try switching Use cavity and Flat shading = off, editing Objects Shader Settings.
  11. Using 4.8.2 cant replicate, sorry - Create sphere in surface mode - Paint it with some colors - back to Sculpt and use resample command - Colors remains intact
  12. It is difficult to advise without seeing the complexity of the model, but begin with sharp seams and adding those cuts after the UVS and texturing can help. Drawbacks are normal angles needed for good baking process, add those sharpening cuts before can modify the result.   14. Using Rotate Button, handles on 3DC are limited. Sadly can't modify tangents as any other 3D software.
  15. hint: ShowFoldersAsButtons must be off * arrow disappears = confirmed
  16. Edit > Preferences Is Treat Retopo Objects... off ? How many retopo groups you have in a single UV set ? When Baking, 3DC create materials for every RetopoGroup. Use the command UnifyUV to Move all faces to current UVset. Hope this help * Can you share the model to take a look ?
