  1. PicMat_2Grey PicMat_Paint2 PicMat_Gold crashes 3DC http://3d-coat.com/mantis/view.php?id=1475
  2. are you using the version 4.1.02 ? http://3d-coat.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=10395&page=1
  3. in surface mode there is a tool ---------------------- Do you need to split the voxel model ?
  4. split the model and auto retopo every part helps ? *make a copy first
  5. Try to attach a model screen capture, so any possible helper can know the complexity.
  6. was a good 2D portfolio site Some are migrating to Feng Zhu 's new opened site http://drawcrowd.com/
  7. Whole object should be around 1-3 million polys before fine detailing. Use Artman sharp preset for thin cut.
  8. No more CGHUB. Sad day. Project CGHUB is officially closed. The reason behind this extremely tough decision is personal and will remain private. It's absolutely not connected with business or any kind of technical difficulties. On behalf of development team I would like to apologize to CGHUB users and fans for abrupt project closure and delay with its announcement. If you have any kind of questions please send them to cghub@shakuro.com . Can't promise replies to everyone though. CGHUB wasn't ideal, but we loved it SO MUCH! :*( Team Shakuro https://www.facebook.com/shakurocom?ref=stream&hc_location=timeline ------------------------------------------------ by wondrs: For those who want to save some contacts or favorite images or at least favorite artists names, http://web.archive.org/ might come handy. 9. 1 Freeze 2 Hide Froozen Area 3 Cutoff 4 Unhide all
  10. Once the block object at voxel mode is finished and you got the right proportions... usually we switch to sculpt mode. There is 3 sculpt modes at 3DC - Voxel mode - used for block modeling - Sculpt mode - used to add details - inside Sculpt mode there is optional tools (Live Clay Mode) - use to add very fine details To switch to Sculpt mode, press the letter V in the layer... it change to S, and a new set of tools appear.
  11. googling i found some info http://forums.epicgames.com/archive/index.php/t-965936.html Ghostdance 06-10-2013, 04:33 AM Yes it is possible, There is a Material Function Called TwoSidedTexturing with separate inputs for side a and b... But I would not advise using it as a way to avoid modeling the inside of the mouth, If that's what your thinking? It would work well for other things. Like making a two sided flag for example. madaboutagmes 06-12-2013, 12:02 PM Yeah that is 2 sided mats, the same mat but on both sides. Duplicate the plane, and flip the normals, then assign the new texture to that plane. Attach planes and export. Then in UDK you should have 2 different mat tabs where you can assign a mat to each plane ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alden http://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/1032/uv-mapping-plane-single-side ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/1032/uv-mapping-plane-single-side To the best of my knowledge, Blender does not have a built-in setting for one-sided UV mapping. However, you can trick Blender into thinking that your plane has two distinct sides, which you can then UV unwrap independently. To do this, add a Solidify modifier, set the 'Thickness' value to 0, and hit 'Apply'. Now, when you go to UV unwrap, you will have two sides to map, one of which you can set to an image and leave the other blank by arranging them in the UV/Image Editor.
  12. glad you finally found your own workflow
  13. in which program is this possible ? never saw this before, sorry
  14. If model is very high 15M + you always can change the voxel resolution using when your sculpt is done -fill, smooth, draw, airbush- use this tools (RMB over the object or object layer) to clean any internal holes doesn't visible -sometimes this operation take time, based in model complexity- and then GL !
  15. because the model is very noisy and have lot of holes -is this model a real 3D scan ?- dont use make mesh closed Your original base mesh: Is almost impossible to do something with this model without a heavy cleanup In my workflow -any one can use their own workflow, 3DC is very open for this- I take it as a base model and resculpt, Do it using 3DC, to have better result gl !
  16. Hide frozen dont show a full object, it show the carcass when i perform the cutoff and unhide the object the hole have no bridge in between internal faces
  17. This old request post have info related http://3d-coat.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=11454&hl=tiling
  18. Try increase resolution of layer -twice- before any operation the poly resolution is too small... 83176 tris you need at last 6M polys to begin cleaning voxel layer increase resolution icon = press twice then follow the import for voxelize steps and then begin using fill tool
