Carlosan's post in 3DCoat not starting on my Cintiq. Apologies for the long description was marked as the answer
Hi
The problem occurs if you move the application to 2nd monitor (Cintiq) and close it while on that screen ?
If yes: then move the app back to your primary monitor, save document, close it, and it'll relaunch.
Is the problem solved ?

Looks as a bad installation.
Try uninstalling One Drive first. It generated issues with 3DC installation.

Carlosan's post in 3DCoat & Keyshot? was marked as the answer
Hi
This is what i found, hope it help
KeyShot
To use our PBR textures in Keyshot first you need to go to the Preferences menu and check “Use gloss instead of roughness for materials”. Then open a Material Graph. Change your material type to Advanced. Load Diffuse map in the Diffuse slot. Load Reflection Map in the Specular slot, Glossiness map in the Gloss slot and Normal map in the Bump slot.
Finally, create a Displace Node and load a Height map to it. Set the Displacement height and Execute Geometry Node.

Carlosan's post in Importing multiple UV Sets issue was marked as the answer
Hi
Yes. Only one UV mapt can exist for a single mesh in 3DC.
You can import tiles as UVsets, but 3DCoat cant support multiple uv maps for the same vertices as Blender or Maya.

Carlosan's post in continuous stroke with steady stroke was marked as the answer
To paint outside of mesh borders go to the Camera button on the top right corner of the 3D viewport, then customize.
Find the control for navigating with the only the LMB, and delete it.
Since there is already an event for this nav with Alt+LMB you can still navigate.
Hit ok and paint, just perform as you're wanting it to without navigating.

Carlosan's post in 3d coat access problem was marked as the answer
"3DCoat" is trying to create a user data folder (which contains user settings and assets) inside "C:\Users\USER_NAME\OneDrive\???????\3DCoat". That is incorrect. It should create it inside "C:\Users\USER_NAME\Documents\3DCoat". To workaround this problem:
Start > start typing "Edit the system environment variables" > Environment Variables... > System variables > New... >
Variable name: COAT_USER_PATH
Variable value: C:\Users\USER_NAME\Documents\My3DCoatData (specify your user name inside)

Carlosan's post in 3D-coat Auto uvmap imperfections was marked as the answer
Hi
Try importing using this settings (lock normals = ON)
I tend to select the ‘Lock Normals’ option since I want it exactly as I exported it. (If you don’t keep them, it will change most normals to smooth).
