No, gamma is only set for display viewport.
16-bit/32-bit format like a Tiff or EXR would be best option.

You found a very strange bug
when you directly click on the menu windows/panel/pick current layer/volume it works selecting the layer that is under mouse location.
On your video the green zone is layer 36, and because mouse location is on top on that paint zone, layer32 was selected.

Some faces of Polygroup26 & Polygroup10 are on UVset Polygroup2.
Polygroup6 is on UVset Polygroup1
Are not unwraped, so are not visible on UV preview
- Select all faces using this command or manually (I unwrapped it before)
- Move to Default
- Delete unused UVsets
Use Joint Clusters to cleanup red lines

Use Name Correspondence for Baking
You may use this option to simplify Sculpt Object Baking if names of Retopo Objects correspond to Sculpt Object names.
If you check the option each Retopo Object will be baked using only the Sculpt Object of same name and its children

Channel Toggle Icons on Paint Room
3DCoat has three channels that you can paint at any given moment.
Before you’ll find out how each tool works in Paint Mode, you are to know about painting in Depth / Color / Glossiness channels, and also to know about color picking, and types of drawing.
This icons will, upon LMB clicking, toggle the channel on or off. If the channel is off, you will see a large “X” over the respective icon.
On the right you can see in the image those three icons. They are from left to right:
Depth: Use the depth slider to adjust the amount of extrusion to apply while drawing. Use the smoothing slider to adjust the amount of smoothing to apply while drawing with the SHIFT key pressed. To view menu use D. Color: Use the opacity slider to adjust the amount of color to apply. Click to disable color. Use the button determines the rule for the draw color. To view menu use C. Glossiness: Glossiness channel intensity control. Click to toggle Glossiness on or off. To view menu use R.

Right click on voxel tree, there is a show all objects option on the right click menu.
Toggle the “Eyeball” icon to hide or show the Layer selected.
Hold down the “Alt” key to hide every layer except the current layer.
