  1. dx cuda 64 perfectly reproducable for me - both in existing files and in new ones - making a polygon and moving points is very slow, regardless of the mesh complexity
  2. all tools in retopo in the latest build is slow below usable. version 35.03 is fast, using that
  3. wow i have been using it regularly and missed it too. Thanks! Maybe the menus can be cleaned up a little - e.g. moving symmetry to retopo menu or moving symmetry options to symmetry menu
  4. Thanks for sharing. Worth noting that "Add Pens from Package" is in the tiny triangle popup menu in the right top corner of the pen panel
  5. i have evga 480 - its fast, has dx11 and tesselation etc. BUT - 3dcoat cuda does not run and it has some shadow filtering problems. I suggest waiting a month or so - it will get cheaper and better supported
  6. This is sad that we all ended up in this small group of people who can't use their software the way it was intended to. I would love to have this problem fixed but i do understand that caring for small number of gf480 customers is beyond normal support :\
  7. just tried it with newest build and newest beta drivers 257.15 - same crash, voxels with CUDA are not working

  9. played in 3dcoat last night. Would be great to have some sort of mask/freeze tool with easy access(ctrl key in zbrush). And in general, I would rather see time spent on voxel modeling tools and performance instead of PTEX
  10. Fun. Though it starts choking at about 100k triangles on a powerful computer reminds me of leonardo 3d http://leonar3do.com/?q=en/node/70 - it also uses dynamic tesselation

  15. yeah the one sided retopo is not a bug to say, i asked to make retopo work on both sides as well For me and a lot of artists here the main reason not to sculpt with 3dc or even mudbox is performance, zbrush has amazing speed when sculpting that results in super smooth brush feel. So any improvements to 3dc voxel performance will be 1st priority for us over any features
  16. Hey guys, i am getting DirectX error when trying to run 3dcoat directx 64 bit on windows 7. Gl version is running fine. Any plans on making it run on windows7 in directx mode? it supposed to be good
  17. well i guess it's matter of workflow, for me it is critical to see zbias of 0 to judge the low/high poly intersection and still being able to tweak the geo. Again, in my opinion, the software should not stop you from doing something

It gives much better control over the scene." This one does not seem like a good idea, now it is difficult to tweak edges with low zbias, can i have the old one back?

  20. there are pretty major issues with retopo in 3.1.13 - welding points in the middle of valid topology removes polygons completely and creating holes in the model. Please fix
