  1. Thanks very much, Greg! That helps me out a lot! I was wondering; once I have exported my mesh out of 3DC to a LightWave file format (for instance) with its maps, (normal esp.) and I then want to come back into 3DC with that LightWave mesh to add some more detail to the existing normal map, problem is; I don't see my normal map in the layer panel in the Paint Room. The normal map did not seem to come in applied with the LightWave file import. Does one have to go about importing the normal map in on its own in some way? Thanks again, Greg, I really appreaciate your help! deg Edit: Yeah, found under the Texture menu where to import the existing normal map back in. Works like a charm.
  2. Hi Guys, I made a UV in the Retopo Room, but I can't figure out how to get it onto my mesh. The "Apply UV-set" button (that is in the UV Room command list) is missing in the Retopo Room commands. Also, how does one delete a UV, as I had one I did in the UV Room that I no longer want to use.   4. Heya 3DC'ers! I'm really interested in 3DC techniques that produced Izmeth Siddeek's MechaBorg, with its cleam hard smooth lines. Can anyone point me toward any tuts (free and/or for sale) that illustrate how he (and others as well) obtained these types of hard-surface results with 3DC? http://3d-coat.com/screenshots/g2data/albums/3dcoat2/MechaBorg.jpg I did just find his "The Voxel Modeler's Workbook Part 1" and I am going to read now. Any other additional hard-surface tut material that is known would be great as well. Thanks much! deg

  7. Hi Andrew, Just downloaded and installed 3.7.08B and I notice that the PicMat_RedWax shader is a lot different and the resolution of my sculpt seems less-than. I reverted back to 3.7.01B (the version that I was using yesterday and started the sculpt in) as these changed aspects really throw me off in mid-stream while in production. No time to get used to a whole new RedWax look dealing with production day-to-day, and I preferred the the previous RedWax look as well. peace | deg
