  1. If you could provide blend file for issue number 2 that would help me a lot. I cant see this behaviour. Are you doing all your tests with per-pixel meshes?
  2. This is good point. I need to update the scipt that specific settings stay the same, no matter what file is loaded.
  3. Yes, works only fbx right now. you don't need to check export mesh if you don't want to. it just update textures in that case. It should work even if you don't have full details in your texture files.
  4. I see that you have "Export with modifiers" turned on in applink settings. If you turn this option off. Does that helps? That option only says that it will apply all modifiers into mesh before exporting the mesh into 3d-coat and most situations you want to turn this option off.
  5. @tokikake I realized that you are using old version(Only send button) there is better version where is (send and getback buttons). It works better and it also may have fix for some errors you have had. Please roll up from this thread a bit and download the latest zip file.
  6. If you want to use uvsets and not materials please uncheck option "Treat materials as separate textures" from import window. That way textures are created based your uvsets. I can see that your way to create nodes in first place can confuse applink. Right now applink dosen't handle well if only Material Output node is in nodetree. I will improve this. When you create new material, it creates principled BSDF and output nodes and link them together... this is what applink is trying to find too.
  7. That error could happen if after pressing export button you modify mesh in blender before pressing sendback. The objects has different polycount.
  8. Can you send blender scene to test?
  9. https://app.livestorm.co/pixar-animation-studios/new-bridge-tool?utm_source=Livestorm+company+page So interested about this
  10. The object that gives an error and had no nodes. Did you ever took that object into 3d-coat. Applink is only checking/updating objects that has "Sended into 3dcoat" tag on them. It should leave other objects alone.
  11. @Alex_Velger Are you able to PM the blender scene for me. Would help a lot.
  12. @Alex_Velger Try that. That should fix the issue for now. This bug happen when you switch new blender version. I really need to fix this.
  13. so you are using install option in preferences panel in blender. That might be the root of this issue cause I never do that when I update the addon. I just delete old folder from 2.83/scripts/addons and then move new folder inside of it.
  14. @digman Please add that io_coat3D folder into that location. See if that fixes the problem. io_coat3D.zip EDIT: I can understand that if you save blender in your AppData folder this could cause problems.
  15. Hi can you check if this file exists: 'C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender 2.83\2.83\scripts\addons\io_coat3D\data.json' if you do have that file then please tell blender version u r using, 2.83.x? EDIT: I tried with latest blender/3d-coat version and all seams to work ok in my tests. Is there a way to follow steps to see this bug?
  16. @Alex_Velger please use this version. io_coat3D.zip
  17. I noticed that official blender 2.83 builds dosen't have latest applink included. I will fix this soon. but 2.90 versions include it and you can download it here too. io_coat3D.zip
  18. Are you using latest version where is GetBack button?
  19. Are you able to share the blend file. I downloaded the latest 3DC and all working as they should.
  20. I would suggest to use .exr (16 or 32 bit) files with displacement maps. In my tests those works the best.
  21. Could you send me a file to test out? You can send private message if you dont want to share it with every one.
  22. Can you take a screenshot of files in that location?
  23. Its again that data.json error. Can you check if there is data.json file in C:\\Program Files\\Blender Foundation\\Blender 2.83\\2.83\\scripts\\addons\\io_coat3D\\data.js location
  24. When I send these zip files its better to replace blenders default addon with them. Using 'install external addon' is not good option in this case.
