  1. Thanks for sharing the vacation pictures. It seems that you had a great time out there. You have very lovely family and Turkey seems to be a nice place for holiday.
  2. Like rest of us is saying. Your work is super hyper good. Good luck with the music video.
  3. Agree with Reactor. This program is something totally new and sometimes comparing this to zbrush and mudbox is just wrong. I love this program even when I'm using this with WINE in ubuntu. Andrew really listen us and try to make his best. his weekly updates are much better than some others programs half year updates. When you pay 200 dollars to get this amazing program is a small price. And we don't know what cool updates Andrew has prepared for us in the future. So I would like to raise my glass and say "HIP HOUURREII! good job Andrew"
  4. I really like all of them. They are funny and crazy in same time. I have to put your name on the paper because I think that we are going to see some nice sculpts from you in the future. Just keep it up!
  5. Ashley. Give a try with WINE. 3d-coat works quite well in it. There is some issues but overall performance is good. But I think that we don't have to wait for so long to get the linux version.
  6. I really like this twitter page where you can see the changes that Andrew has made so far. And I have to say that he doing a great job. He is killing those important bugs right now and I'm more and more excited to buy new 3d-coat v3 when it comes out.
  7. you are not alone Artman with this one. I'm using v.87 because it suit perfectly with my workflow.
  8. For the first sculpt this is very nice. I dream that I could have done sculpts like that when I first started. I hope you can finish this up. It's like crazy doctor or driver of the crazy vehicle...hmm...which one???
  9. the latest version works like a dream. Working together with Dp and voxel object open so many doors to create your models.. I have still a little bit hard to create the specularity I want in render tab. It seems that When you render DP object in render mode it creates an extra specularity map( according the light source) and adds that to your own map. If you come to Finland some day just let me know that I can put a red carpet ready!
  10. Hi! I don't know if you know assembly party which Finland holds every year. Well anyway my plan is to finish a short film that they can show it at the festival. Here is a small picture what I have done so far. I have 2,5 months to finish this up so I have a lot to work. I want to give to you Andrew a vision how good your renderer engine is and how good it can be.This picture is renderer in 3d-coat but then I have to paint some more with gimp but I hope that someday I don't have to go inside the gimp anymore.
  11. Thanks a lot SonK. You have done a great job. I really like the hands. Very well done. Downloading...
  12. Congratulations Andrew! v.86 RC is working a lot better, but there is a couple things. These are small things. 1.Now I can render both DP object and Voxel object together which is great, but if I Inc. Res of Voxel object then DP Object gets smaller size (x2). Or do Voxel model gets bigger..I'm confused  2. With render If I have DP object and there is spec map, I really don't see it when I render it. It just looks that spec map is all over the object. Maybe I have to go to check my eyes. New glasses may help. Here is a pic about spec issue. It should not leave marks like that
  13. v.85 bug 1. Goto Voxel mode. 2. Decrease density X2 (default Shpere) 3. Inc resolution 4. Quadrangulate sphere Result is that you don't see your retopo object at all.
  14. 1. Goto Voxels mode (Start with default sphere) 2. Use Pose tool and select half sphere and scale it down. 3. Take build tool and try to remove surface on the half you scaled. 4. Result: It leaves unwanted marks. It seems that this occurs only when you use Pose scale option. Move and Rotate works fine.
  15. Thanks Philnolan3d. Sometimes things are just too close to see it.
  16. Yes! Using reference images is amazing. I would like to see a check box to refenrence images to on/off in view tab. This feature and lock images feature and I'm sold. Again
  17. Andrew, first of all great job with v84. It's very good RC version. Here is one thing that I would like you to think. I really like that you can render out both sculpt models( shaded) with DP painted models and I think that this can be a very good trick to do sometimes but there is a small bug. I created two diffrent layers in Voxels mode and created two spheres, both are in diffrent layer. Then I take one of those spheres and "quadrangulate for per pixel" and paint something here is a picture about. Now when I'm going to render tab I can see both spheres which is exactly what I want. Here is a pic. But if I increase res of that layer where is voxel model. Then I can't see my per pixel model anymore. Maybe you can work with that when you have time. But thanks again. this is best sculting program.
  18. This is really amazing work. You are the man!
  19. just go into address box and press again http://85.25.71.225/files/3d-Coat-3-00-ALPHA80-SIMPLE.exe
  20. There seems to be a bug. I'm using v79. And if you follow these steps: 1. Go to sculpt mode and "quadrangulate object" 3. File->New 4. go to sculpt mode and then retopo mode. Choose Point&Faces. You can make points but not faces.
  21. I think that guy who is doing programming 3d-coat to linux, has hard time to keep up with speed. Andrew is just so fast. 3c-coat v79 is AMAZING!
  22. I can't use pose and transform tools in sculpt mode. I can use them only when I rotate the view that the handler is a front of the model.
  23. Torus would be nice to have in Primitives tools.
  24. This is a nice model. I like your final scene. Good angle and everything.
