  1. Well you know what they say...there is silence before storm. And that storm will be DP. Well I have been busy learning rigging with blender... that is my excuse.
  2. I think that Sphere in the beginning is good thing. I liked it. You can always delete sphere very easily pressing Ctrl+Z if you don't like it.

  6. Take your time Andrew working with DP. It's going to be amazing. I have one idea to scuplting. It may work or not. Is it maybe possible to paint the sculpt density. for example if I have a ball with 50 000 tris then if I could Paint one area to increase tris on that area. For example working with eyes. so now I could have a ball with 50 000 and one specific area on the ball would have 1 million tris. And maybe you could control the density with color map for example black 100% density and white 0% density of tris.
  7. Nice mouse. It is getting better and better. I agree that the shield look a little bit off right now but I don't know your plans with shield so I can't say much about it. But i'm looking for your next version.
  8. Nice job. I like the shader and blender seems to give very good results with renders so that is something I should try too.

  10. I'm not quite sure is this bug or something else. Maybe I don't just get it how it works but anymway you can try: 1. Sculpt something. 2. Add camera shortcut. 3. Save your sculpt. 4. Load your sculpt 5. Press Render. And result is that render box dosen't show at all. It will render your sculpt but you don't see it.
  11. It may be a Battlefield but knowing that we are in the same side with you Andrew it gives a nice feel of comfort. Just take your time. I'm having so much fun with the latest alpha so it keeps me busy for long time.
  12. I saw this a couple days ago and I almost replayed even I don't understand any russian This looks very pro. Andrew, huge steps that you are taking with DP it's just amazing. I think that everybody in this forum knows that. When you are working with a code, we try to work hard with art so you could have many nice sculpted models to show when v3 comes out.
  13. I have also seen this bug. I was working with sculpt under 1M tris and suddenly it just started to run much slower than it should. There was pause when you used extrude tool for example. I'm not able to repeat the problem. I was using 32bit DX version.

  18. ldzywsj. Here is a video how you can make clouds. It's very simple. How I did is that you first render clouds and the rest. Then you put them together with your paint program using layers. I have been using Paint.Net because it's free and very powerful. http://ks.riihikoski.net/clouds.mpg Andrew. thanks for feedback. I agree. The castle needs more work and I like your idea to make it old and some holes
  19. Hi everybody. I put one of my Wip here. I made everything including clouds with 3d-coat and rendered too. I used Paint.net for color fix and composition. In the final scene there should be dragons flying near at castle so this is quite early picture. I'm going to work with castle this week and trying to make it a little bit better. Good tip if you want to make clouds, play with "DOF degree" and "DOF plane position" options in render box.
  20. Thanks Akira. You have a good speed. I'm working with wardlso shader and it takes some time to undestand but I hope that I can bring that shader soon here.

  22. I liked these pictures. This last one I like better that the first one. Nice normal maps. If you still working with this one, the paper looks maybe too clean. Maybe roughing corners gives a nice effect but overall your work is very good.
  23. Sometimes it gets a little bit slow when you have a long voxtree and you want to see only one part how many million tris it takes. So to do that you have to hide all other sculpt to see that. Is is possible to add indivitual count into "Show info" information too. And Another thing is that in the sculpt mode when you have childrens in your voxtree and you clone the parent. Children aren't cloned with the parent.
