Uff, that is going to really destroy the current workflow. What is the thinking behind overriding CTRL for inverse with this new erase function? Any other key would work just as fine. In the meantime has anyone found the replacement key for inverting (if one exists)?

Hi and welcome. Two things: That first image has UV padding. If you don't want that, be sure to turn it off in the export. Second thing, we'll need more info on what you're exporting, is it channel packed, are you applying the metallic map, etc., to be able to help.

Also to be sure the license is removed, you must use the "Uninstall License" function. Uninstalling the application does not also uninstall the license.

Which build of 3DC are you using? What driver version of video card are you running?

It's no problem of course. To do this, delete all of your config files from: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\3D-CoatV4. Those files will have the word "Options" in them. If you have any custom presets or configs, make sure to back them up first.

Yeah that shouldn't be a problem. You should be able to open the same files without issue.

@Rygaard Try deleting the configs first, and also making sure that there are no other versions installed. Sometimes other versions interfere with the one you're using.

That's really weird. I've honestly never seen that before. Maybe try redownloading the installer, rebooting, turning all of those things to off again and running as admin? If you've already done that. Get a hold of support AT 3d-coat DOOOOOOOT com (sorry for the weirdness, avoiding spammer bots lol).

There are agents of chaos and destruction that like to do nothing more but ruin someone else's day, life, career, etc.. We try to ensure this doesn't happen, but sometimes they slip through the cracks. If you notice anyone doing this on the forum, please report their posts. It would help us greatly. Thank you @AndrewShpagin. I am curious, is there anything you can say on overall bug fixing? Seems like there are a lot of bugs being squashed in the latest builds that I am noticing, but it would be good to hear if this is the case.

They are not targeting Substance Designer with Mixer though, they are targeting Substance Painter. The same thing can be achieved in Substance Painter in about the same amount of time. It's cool they are trying, but I really don't wish them luck, I had a lot of bad experiences with quixel itself and their support.

Hi, It's using metal\rough. Some of the old terminology remains from spec\gloss so it can be a little confusing.
