  1. It's solved thanks to the quick email-support. In my case, it didn't load them because I used "ü" in the file name, so only standard latin letters for names and folders.
  2. I've started creating the retopo for my model for practicing purposes. I've saved it and there is a .3b and the fitting .jpg in the same folder. Now I can't load it, when I select it nothing happens.
  3. Did you make the hat in the TF2 Mode? I tried it again, painted the whole bottom as dense, did the strokes etc. And 800 in the polycount too, but it looks like the result I had before, just with less squares.
  4. Hmm, the hat I created was made by using a reference model, so I had to tilt the hat a bit. Can I tilt it later, after I applied the primitives? I know that some numpad buttons allow the user to see the perfect side, top bottom etc. of a model, but since my hat is tilt it doesn't work that way ^^
  5. So, I tried to use autopo, I tried to use it with a simple test hat. So I did some strokes at some keypoints, but that's what came out as the result: The result:
  6. Yeah, I won't, thanks for the reply I really like 3D Coat, I used to start with Blender, but I think I did the right decision buying 3D Coat and using it instead of Blender.
  7. Hello, I want to make a TF2 item and I would like to ask, how I make such a nice retopology on a hat like in the trailer: http://store.steamgames.com/video/100980 The third trailer, he speeds up the time and for a short duration you can see that his hat has a really nice retopology, how do I do that? I played a bit with the retopology tools, but mine isn't even close to that
  8. Hey, thanks for the answers TF2 is a FPS in a cartoon/comic graphic. It's free to play and it makes a lot fun to play I want to create an item because the idea behind it is pretty unique. (It's available on Steam) Before I forget, I've read that " Everyone who buys 3D-Coat V3 in October 2012 will obtain free upgrade to 3D-Coat V4 !" at the Buy Now Page. So I am not the best in English, so: If I buy the Steam version, do I get still updates or something? If I buy it from the site after the October, does that mean that if I want V4 i have to buy it? Is there something like Add-Ons in 3D Coat like Blender? If yes, are they free or do I have to pay?
  9. Hello, I'm a new user and I'm thinking about buying 3D Coat from Steam. I've used Blender before, but 3D Coat seems like it gives me some possibilities which Blender didn't gave me. My questions: 1.What are the exactly differences between 3D Coat and 3D Coat Professional? I know that the Professional Version got "ultimate set of 3D Coat tools and features" and I receive the reights to use it commercially, but what are these tools and features? 2. When I buy 3D Coat (the normal version) I am allowed to create TF2 items? Because "if" they would be accepted, I would get money, so is that commercially?
