  1. I was working in a game company for three months. I used my own license of 3D coat in their workstation. (I uninstalled it first in my private computer.) But I decided to quit and I was given one hour to pack my things and leave. And I didn't have chance uninstall my 3D coat in their workstation. They promised to erase the workstation after I leave. But what if they don't? Is there a way to invalidate my old key and replace it with new? In this way I would be sure there is no license conflict, as they do not own 3D coat.

  10. After a crash, always Bug Report fails to send. I would very much like to be helpful and send them, but I always get red text "Error ocurred while sending Bug report" please, "Occurred" (past tense: occurred; past participle: occurred) I'm running4.5.40 GL64 Win I'm using Windows 7 and latest Google Chrome

  12. Here are my first attempts to 3D coat it. Metal-rough PBR workflow. Trying to understand the right reflectance values for parkerized metal. Probably will start a fresh tomorrow.
  13. This is my weapon concept for games. Modeled and retopoed in 3D-coat. I used xNormal to bake the normal maps.
  14. another noob question. Is there a way to add points to a retopo mesh without snapping to underlying mesh? There's an indent in my voxel mesh and I want the retopo mesh to just flow over it without sinking into it.

  16. Oh, it is not the only one. There are new ones now. Is there a way to help this situation, perhaps merge them?
  17. I managed to reproduce the issue. I selected a cylinder from rtpModels and appended to it's own layer retopo object. Now again everything else except the retopo object is grayed out forever. Only way I can recover from this is to reload a save. I wish someone would tell me whats going on.
  18. It cannot be it. I loaded the mesh in Lightwave and exported with no UVs back to 3DC. Now when I import it I get two wireframe meshes. They don't appear to have colour or shading, just wireframe. Whats strange is that sometimes its the barrel that appears to be editable and sometimes its the body, but never the both.
  19. I'm stuck in retopo. Everyhing went well until I merged retopology layers of the barrel and the body. For some reason now the barrel is grayed out and I can't do anything to it, even select it to separate it to other layer. I tried even export the mesh and reimport it but it's grayed out just the same. The ghost barrel marks as "selected" but I can't for example UV map it automap or autoseams do absolutely nothing for it. I would really appreciate any advice.
  20. Hello. I am using both mac and pc. I have used 3D Coat 3 in Mac for long time. But I realize that the trial version of 4.5 works much slower with mac than my PC, mainly the material preview window. In my PC I have CUDA enabled graphics card. In my Mac I have only mac version of ATI Radeon 5770. It might be that the CUDA GPU enabled processing really makes the difference because the PC is way faster. My question is that can 3D Coat 4.5 take advantage of hardware acceleration in Mac? For example, if I was to upgrade to new Mac Pro with ATI Firepro cards, would it be able to take advantage of the GPU power?
