It did not help a lot. unfortunately I tried Surface mode , same issue , mirror many times goes wrong on the copied side Move brush is usable for small adjustments, but once we do bigger displacements such issues happens many times. Move brush is essential in Zbrush for almost all 3D artists, i hope 3D Coat will improve the move tool and get it working correctly in most usages.

  3. Why not beeing transparent ? Should not be at some point a general 3D Coat anouncement telling the upgrade price for all V4 long term customers ? Is the V4 users base so low, each long term customer must contact sales individualy ? I don't think V4 long term users will buy 280$ a new full license for 3D coat 2021 instead of an upgrade, almost no other software company do that.
  4. I bought 3D coat long time ago, and i also paid the the last V4 previous upgrade. How do we V4 users upgrade to 2021 ? Will there be some promotion price drop for long term users ? Or should we wait ? Thanks.

  7. Same here, i hope long time users will get some discount. Because main features i'm interested in 2021 is only the translationnal symmetry. - Nodes editor seem too limited, not enough textures examples and variety on the video (to compare with some Substance Designer possibilities) - Cloath Simulation video lacks advanced character clothing and objects examples to really show if it's usable and it's possibilities. I guess those two features will not be enough advanced and not enough complete when 2021 will be available. 3D Coat 2021 will be great for new comers, but for people using other advanced software at same time like Zbrush and Substance or Marvelous Designer, the upgrade won't be a must have if the price will be above 99$. I think regular low price upgrades from previous version each year (25 to 50$) could have been better.
  8. I no more pay attention to software promises, betas or work in progress, and only use when it's stable and prooven and that cover my needs. For example i no more wait Blender to get this or improve that and just use Zbrush for some things because the feature is production ready without issues. Using betas is like doing the same work as software tester job, while you don't get paid or any advantage, and this can be very frustrating to go through crashes and unexpected bugs. I agree people using betas should get a huge discount based on their amount of bugs and issues reports. Like early access games, players get the final game for lot lower price as they helped founding the game and do all the beta testing work for the game reporting issues and ideas to improve it.
  9. The stamp stroke is great, however we need to smooth the result to avoid jaggy visible surfaces. Even with good resolution mesh and 1024 brush image size. Could it be possible to have some auto smooth adjustable value when we use stamp mode (or improve it in some way) ? So we don't need more work to do as smoothing the stamp created.
  10. I tried displacement, but i didn't get good results and it was buggy image. Height map has lot of usage, would this be possible to include 3D coat baking height map directly ?
  11. I use that window most of the time for quick access to brushes tools. What's annoying is it does not save it's position using the pin icon, it walys open up top right or top left. Could this be improved and have window open to previous position ?
  12. Hi, It would be interesting to have retopo tool using angle based parameter, as efficient as Blender decimate modifier. This has many uses for low poly quick retopo. And this avoids having lot of not necessary vertex when the model is more hard surface planes. With options like delimit by normal, material, UV
  13. I'm using 3D coat 4.9.34 with windows 7 64 bits. I use the stamp tool to duplicate some part of image all over, when i use undo there is remaining paints artifacts. The Undo is not usable.
  14. It looks good. However the completed character armor looks not like metal, it looks more like stone, because the roughness too high. What is the 3D engine ?
  15. h So 3D coat is bringing multi material painting using vertex colors. Let's do a reverse usage on painted model below : From a model painted with a material doing erosion and scrathes, could 3D be able to extract the tiling textures and correct Vertex paitning values ? - blue metal paint tiling texture - erosion metal tiling texture - vertex colour map Similar to some Substance Designer materials, this would decrease a lot textures size as instead of 4K texture painting and baking, we could use two small tiling textures and a vertex color map for that model.
  16. Like Blender have automatic unwrap specifying some angle limit and distance between UV islands. This speeds up a lot the workflow for Retopo UV when precise UV work is not needed.
  17. I painted materials the voxel model, and baked the retopo. The baked texture roughness is not the same as the voxel painting, it lack quality and accuracy as it's not exaclty the same. The baked roughness is lot more higher than the original voxel painting roughness.
  18. Hi, Does last 3D Coat version allows to use another drive other than the Windows drive installation for alphas and other libraries to use ? Or does alphas only work when they are under the system drive : Users/Documents ? Thank you.
  19. 3D Coat is installed on drive M, but it had 6Go additional installation on Windows drive. Most stuff are stuff like brushes, settings , this should be changed to put that stuff in 3DCoat installation directory instead. This is specific to 3D coat, most other software does not install that way. 3D Coat need to change how it's installed on Windows.
  20. Like Blender the ability to clone a voxel object into an array in some direction planes or as radial and height. Not using spline, but parameters like spacing and axes.
  21. This is why i use Xnormal to bake normal maps for multi objects. Not sure lot of people use 3D coat for complex baking otherwise this bug would have already been posted.
  22. This is the baking in Xnormal, the baking two high poly object to one low poly retopo does not have seams problems. 3D coat makes errors baking on objects jonction.
  23. This is the same issue when you import a model from Zbrush made of many objects and try to bake to one object, there is baking bugs.
  24. When you merge visible you loose each voxel object materials, the boolean object result have only one material. I guess 3D coat has never been designed to bake Voxel materials and separate volumes.
