  1. Thank you! Soon I will surprise you with some very nice, one of a kind shaders with lots of possibilities!
  2. An imaginary Atlantis figure doodle, just having fun! http://bit.ly/xdWaJG
  3. Like sitting in this spaceship on a discover mission, I am sitting for my computer and discovering 3DCoat Again having lots of fun! Atmospheric painting by use of Perfecttex textures, check it out!
  4. Hi, here a new doodle, lets say a strange specimen of an insect, Atmospheric painting finalising the scene with help of textures by Perfecttex. It is so much fun doodling around with this great software!
  5. I am sorry, stupid mistake in my accompagning writing, I did use the axial tool here ofcourse!
  6. Trying out the sketch tool with all its endless possibilities. Fun to do & doodle around! In combination with the gear models (Perfecttex)nice combinations are quickly made. After building the model with the sketch tool it is peanuts to make complex models with the warp tool, like so, a mechanic part with some phantasy it looks like, a break for a carwheel.
  7. Hi Andrew, Maybe I looked it over/didnot find out yet where or how to do so in 3DC, what I miss, is having the possibility "to walk" around the model in voxel/painting room(s)on f.e. a fixed X -axe, which would be a very nice feature to have, ment for the easiness of checking out the model/texturing etc. But it also would be a very handy utility for very precise painting jobs f.e. like patterns with lines or else. So I don't mean, to be able to make a turntable, I know this is an implemented feature already. What I mean is a viewing system like turntable system, in the VOXEL room as well as in the PAINTING room(S). In the 3D market, 8Monkeylabs has a simular solution implemented in their software, Marmoset Toolbag, a works very smooth & so easy working with it, really nice. I would love to have some turntable system like so in 3DC (Attachments)
  8. I had a lot of fun creating this scene, with little elements building this scene with a Space Lab. 3DCoat makes all so easy and nice to work.
  9. Hi Andrew, I don't know if this is possible but it would be really nice to have the possibility to adjust the background (image) by the same tools which are in use for the materials and masks. In this way it will be possible to straighten out and to scale the image vis a vis (in compare) with the model(s). Say fine tuning of the scene made.
  10. Hi to all, my name is Jim, coming from a country in Europe, since 2 years exploring the world of 3DCoat, which by the way comes close to perfection in context of 3D program perspectives in my point of view. Experiences with ZBrush, Carrara, Blender, Lightwave. I am not a Photoshop-man rather a user of all different software programs which I mix into my own special way, my own 'artistic handwriting'. I am a very creative person in an array of different fields, to name a few; making paper reliefs, glass objects, textile design, graphic design, teacher in percussion, besides all this I am into 2 & 3D digital design. I develloped some specialisms like texture making "handmade artistic textures" = not based on photoos but started from a white screen. For most people painting with these textures need some experimentation, it feels, it works different because they are designs by itself. With other words it is an other approch in painting. Personally I find the painting options in 3DCoat wonderful, a very easy way to use painting systems, excellent for the use of my textures/materials/shaders. By using these, so rich in detail artistic textures, with just a couple of strokes your projects become very quickly well painted. Your project will look original which should be every artists goal. Let your art work stand out of all other art works! Although not rich, I feel rich due to my given talents which by the way I like to share with all 3DCoat users, you can find them on the 3DC Webpage/Download section/Resourses. Check it out and let me know if you like them, and......show me some results. I also work on demand, so..... in need of a special something....ask me and I might be capable off!

  12. Hi Amdrew, I have a request for future version s of 3DC. As you know I use the painting section of 3DC a lot, I think it is a very good and easy system. My request is implementing a (personal)position memory slot system, where man can temporarely save current or often used positions of the material/masks/camera. Maybe even having the possibility to save the position slots together with other file information to disc.(Attachment) Nice & very handy to have for precise texture painting f.e. with my resourses (Perfecttex) Than in the same context this question, when I use the rotation(camera) tool it would be nice f.e. with the Shift key to freeze the tilting when using it, with other words the model keeps its same vertical/horizontal position (Attachments) Thanks for your nice program!
  13. In Gear, sketch for machine parts. Sketch made with help of gear models. You will find them in resourses/3DC packs/model donated by Perfecttex. Check it out!
  14. Example of texture painting with the use of masks and material of the free resourses provided by perfecttex http://bit.ly/oLTgF9
  15. Hi Andrew, I was wondering if in future updates it would be possible to have a more organised shaders panel (tap) made possible. I really would like to have a shaders panel(tab) with an internal structure based upon f.e. the allready existing brush/masc panel(tab). So in the brush panel there is a little arrow with all sorts off possibilities like add new folder etc. What do I mean? I imagine it would be very handy if every existing shader which comes in the 3DC software f.i. Bronze no cavity/ Cook-Torrence, and all others etc will gets its own folder. In there you can put as well all personal shaders based on this shader(derivatieves). Although I don't anything about how to program/build software I presume when having lots of shaders visible(obliged) it has an higher demand on memory-slowing down the start up and even the program itself. Hopefully this can be implemented in a future update. Keep up the good works, love 3DCoat!!! Cheers
  16. Thanks for your clear answer, I ll keep on 3DC sculpting with pleasure! Cheers
  17. Hi to all, excuse for this probably silly newbie question.... but so far didnot find out how to do so and therefore cannot continue with some projects. It is about importing an detailed sculpted obj file which I made in other program like ZBrush 4.0 or Blender into the Voxelroom. When doing this it appears in the state it actually is but when I enter all details are gone and the model seems to be in a very early stage with no subdivision/resolution. Than I thought I can do another approach, I use the merge-tool to bring the model in the voxel room but even with using the subdivide button the details don't appear as they are. I think it should be possible but I probably do something wrong or I am forgetting something necessairy to do. Hope someone will help me out here, thanx in advance for your time. By the way I really love 3DCoat, it is an amazing easy 3D creating program. Cheers
