  1. Without symmetry without symmetry voxel turned off With symmetry with symmetry voxel turned off
  2. Things become visible if I turn off symmetry manual mesh is not being visible with symmetry on Should it be that way, or should I be able to add polys manually with symmetry on?
  3. I pushed up z bias up to 10 in increments - no luck. I am sure I have got something wrong.
  4. In V4, if I do autopo - I can see the mesh in retopo room, however, if I try to add mesh manually, I can't view the polygons. However, the polygons are being added as shown in the face count and triangle count at the bottom - but, can't see the faces. I went back to 3.7, I can see the mesh when I add it manually in retopo room. In V4, I can't see it. I reset all settings to default in V4 - no change in behavior. Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong?
  5. Why don't we get a prepay option? Poser 2014 is going to be released on May 21, but I could pay my upgrade price and book it right now. It helps me keep control of my little budget, and lessens worries. Priorities and funds keep changing on a daily basis. I know it's not the same for every one. My regards to members for their kind responses.
  6. Will there be a decent upgrade price for those of us who decided to support and buy 3D Coat from long time back? Or do we have to pay all over again? Please do not mind. I have a tight budget, so might need to save up. It's good if I could have known the amount I would be expected to pay for the upgrade from Version 3.
  7. If you need a professional copyeditor to polish the copy and get things simplified and organized - I'd love to contribute. I am a novice hobbyist in 3D, but I provide for my family by writing and copyediting.
  8. Nifty idea. I tried it, it works, though a tad bit messy. I think I'll create a special application for this problem if it helps out people.
  9. Hi, I don't remember but I think there was an application that showed reference images while working in 3d coat. Did that also show videos? The 3d coat reference image tool is good enough for referring images. I would like not to switch between windows but have a small floating window showing video tutorials while I continue to work. Is it there? I would be grateful to be informed.
  10. Thanks for all responses and advice friends, I am going to office now, and at my employer's place it is all high poly for we make ad films. When I come back from work, I will consider and approach according to each suggestion and find out my mistake. If it is still not solved, I will upload printscreens and also a model so that others can help to solve. Just had a look at the forum before going to office. Seriously, I never expected anybody to care or reply. I feel thankful and encouraged, and obliged to shoot a quick acknowledgement. My gratitude to all.
  11. Hi all, This is my first post, though I have bought 3dc a bit back and sometimes used it. Recently I am required to do very low poly work building aircraft models. When I use the merge tool in voxel room the result model (blue color) seems all torn around edges and seams, and sometimes outer edges of wings almost disappear. I am sure I am making some mistake. Any suggestion on how to merge properly would be of great help. I use closed meshes and also click "close mesh" to be double sure before "merge." I tried to follow the tutorial here on 3dc, also bought the video dvd training. But this is not a problem I found anybody to be facing. My computer is ok. I have CUDA. I create simple 3d models for a living. Usually I needed high poly meshes for work. But now most work is extreme low poly and requiring detailed normal maps. So, I was trying 3d coat, but facing this problem. Don't know where I am going wrong. Any advice would be helpful. Regards Cloner
