  1. Hey Thanks .... ok, I managed to send it to UV with Merge for per-pixel painting with normal map... But I can't bake a decent disp map... I am curious if someone had success exporting a disp map.. I mean that thing should be pretty easy to do.. Unfortunately.. it is not... trying... trying..
  2. Hello.. I am going nuts.. ok, here is.. I made a sculpt in voxels, made a retopo.. and then in retopo mode I unwrapped some nive uv's I am happy with it.. Now all I need to do is to bake a disp map from the voxel object to the retopo object... how do you proceed.. I could find no answer.. Also one thing.. even though I see my uv's in retopo mode.. when clicking on UV Mode.. nothing is there.. no even the mesh.. how do you transfer my uv's from the retopo mode to the uv's mode.. no idea... Please if you can help... Thanks... Hervé

  4. hello.. thanks for your input.... well the export object is nice... but it just saying Bump... not displacement.. and there is no exr format to choose from.. so that means the map will be only 8 bits... not good.. I also tried the export to paint, but all I see is a normal map... why not a disp map..? I mean 3DC has all the info it need to make one... anyway.. thanks a lot.. hervé
  5. Hello I sculpted an object in voxel mode, then I have retopo it, then I made some UV's... Now what I need is simply to export a disp map for my retopo mesh.. that's it... any clue...? Thanks. hervé
  6. Hello BUILD:3.2 OS:winxp64 HARDWARE: mac 8 cores 3.2 ghz BUG DESCRIPTION: padding black outline when exporting a disp map in exr format STEPS TO REPRODUCE: export a disp map, grey middle, exr format.. Even 0 pixel padding leaves a black outline to each UV island... Hervé
