Danke.
Das war für einen Wettbewerb hier im Forum und der dauert 4 Wochen und solange habe ich auch ungefähr gebraucht.
Jeden Tag 1-2 Stunden, wie ich halt Hobbymäßig Zeit hatte.

First of all.
Substance Painter works with tris only.
You have to triangulate your model in 3d coat while baking or in an external programm to match the model with the normalmap in Painter.
Second
Use the Substance Designer and Painter Preset for baking if you use DX normals in Painter.
If you use GL normals i would test the Blender Preset, but i dont have ever used the GL stuff in Painter or Designer.
For more informations i need a look into your file,

Thanks.
Substance Designer is a very nice programm.
If you dont have much experiance in 2d painting like me, it helps you a lot.

Nice.
Paintet in 3d coat?
-
Thanks for the reply.
Yes the indie package looks great, too.
Tileable textures are possible, not as easy as in Substance Designer or Bitmap2Material.
You have to paint it manually. Take a look in the Splash Screen of 3d Coat and choose, Paint directly over UV-ed model.
There are two planes to create tileable textures.

Little Question
You say, Normal map and texture created in 3d-coat
On the Substance Painter Site you say Normal texture painted in SP.

For me both T-Rex looks like the same. Every wrinkle and color are the same.
What did you create exaclty in 3d coat and what in Substance Painter?
Would be nice to know that. I playing on my side to buy SP, too.
