  1. Hi, is there a way to paint only metalness or only glossiness but not both at the same time?
  2. well, yes you can paint to vertex map but as soon as you turn back your object to voxel (because i want to sculpt in woxel mode:)) you loose the pbr setting. All i want is a simple flat shader with control on diffuse, gloss and metalness for voxel. that wait i could for instance have clay like shader or a metal like shader while working in voxel. I find the pbr shader more useful for sculting than the mapcap.
  3. is it possible to add gloss and metalness control in the standard pbr shader in the sculpt room? As far as i can tell, youcan control only the diffuse color and transparency. if working in surface mode, you can go to the paint room and "paint" the gloss and metalness but this won't work with voxel. i really love the pbr look but without control over gloss and metalness it is pretty useless in sculpt with voxel.
  4. Hi, I tried to use the mask invert function but it doesn't seemed to work anymore? I tried it with 3dc4beta 12B and 13A, no result. am i missing something new? Thank you
  5. Hi, I will need to update my computer soon and i want to know what is the best way to improve working speed inside 3d coat? 1- I'm guessing that CPU, ram and GPU are the most important to upgrade. Is there another ones? 2- Which one could give the best boost? Thank you
  6. Hi there, is there a way to import one single map (let say a diffuse) to multiple material without having to do the textures/import/diffuse/materials...etc for every material? this is very annoying when you have a lot of materials that you want to import the same map. thank you.
  7. +1 here, be able to work in 2.2 gamma would be very very useful. i think some kind of viewport post process could do the trick.
  8. Have you try to flip vertically the displacement map before using it in 3Dcoat?
  9. That's great but as i already asked, it would be really great for my workflow to add back the feature so when in CAPS you only see the cursor when changing size and or depth (like it use to be before 3.33 if i remeber correctly). IF not fully invisible, just a small dot would be good enough . anyway, i want to thank you for this great software, keep the great work you're doing Edit: sorry, i haven't looked enough in preference, i found what i was asking for .
  10. thank you, i understand it now. in fact i was misunderstanding "multiple UVset". In fact it allow you to have multiple texture to an object while i was thinking it could allow to have multiple UVset for any single face (on face could be on several UV sets). It's the way modo work.
  11. I find myself king of dumb but i can't figure out how to use multiple UV set :/. I succed to creat a empty new UVset, to transfert UV from set 1 to 2 (but i got empty uvset1 then). And i couldn't creat new UV in an empty UVset (i can't even see my object when the UVset is empty) Any help is welcome thank you Speaking OF UV, an awesome feature would be to be able to choose an UVset for a layer to paint on.
  12. I find it way better with the cursor always hidden. i used a cintiq so i have no problem of precision. Could we at least have the choice in preference? I use photoshop the same way with "precise painting cursor" on. I find it more natural this way :/...
