    this was a combo of both which explains why you thought it looked yummy  cause it actually might be Ive never tasted a teythisian space ship before and likely won't till I die  lol  

  2. Thanks Matty.  I've been trying to get a transparent effect by erasing the default layer zero in the paint room and then lightly painting color at low opacity.  Glad to know there is another way.

    your welcome I worked very hard to push Andrew to develop transparency I am glad to see other people happy about it   

  3. also to make full use you'll want to do a composite made with one image with transparent materials hidden and one with them shown than over lay the two. first make sure transparent rendering is turned on    you can use Photoshop or gimp to composite  the layer with the transparent objects hidden should be on the bottom  this by composting you eliminate another annoying bug witch is  solid stuff behinde the object not showing up sometimes
