Remastered version here. Now finished with this thing)))
-
Don't want to call that crap my final, but deadline is coming)) Maybe I shall make it better. At least rework driver and background
-
Some texturing progress
-
Hi there! Some progress here/ 1. Modeling of the vehicle is finished. Maybe will sculpt some additional decorations, background and driver 2. unfolding UV's took couple of days)). Let's texturing begin!! 3. Shader customization in blender
-
Thanks, Kargall! Few small details added. Modeling routine is close to be finished
-
redesigned front wheel. And added some gloss)
-
more details in engine part
-
Thanks for your comments guys! Almost all modeling done in blender. I would like to have good topology while texturing and don't want to retopologize everything, so polygonal modeling seems the best for me (and for my laptop that isn't that strong). I'll use 3d-coat later for texturing. And I think I'll sculpt a driver. Here is some reference for inspiration (about broadie-knob - now i know how this thing is called): http://fineartamerica.com/featured/steam-powered-tractor-sepia-steve-harrington.html

Sculpt and texures made in 3d-coat. Hair, rendering - blender(cycles) -
Added some colour variations to the texture, but it seams like they've been "eaten"by someting (sss, perhaps). And now some hair done...
-
I've tried to sculpt pores in surface mode, but 3dc crashes after 4-5 stamps with detalization I can consider as enough. So I decided to make small details in paint room. And now I think that sculpting pores is a real waste of time))
-
Created a skin shader with sss in blender (cycles) now it's time to customize an eye shader and make the things hairy
-
Small update. Textures of the skin is close to be finished
-
Very impressive! What do you use for rendering (if that's not a secret )
