  1. Can you please make brush rotation stored PER BRUSH and not global ?? additional request bring the brush system closer to the feel and customizational abilities of photoshop.
  2. Increased/improved view-port rendering/lighting/realtime AO. panorama's/exposure also feel overexposed when compared to substance painters viewport????
  3. ugh ok cheers AbnRanger. seems like a cool feature to have. similar to editing alpha's etc in zbrush. Well i put a mantis request in so hopefully it will get addressed in the future. I really hope paintroom will get a solid pass on it soon. There is still a long way to go and substance painter is fast catching up.   6. Wooo awesome stuff on hitting RC. I really hope we can start to see some solid improvements to the paint-room core features moving forward however. PBR was a great start, but there is a bunch of suggestions in mantis and trello that would be great to implement that relate to improvements of "core" functions. i.e. improvements to: layer masks, brushes, document adjustments/levels/curves etc, color picker improvements etc. Basically improving the foundations to make it a stronger painting experience. again, congrats on hitting RC, 3dcoat gets better and better with each update!
  7. happens on mine as well. just manually copyed my 4 folder over my 45 and its all there now.....

  9. BUG: Rotate around last draw point doesn't appear to carry over in sessions. I find im always having to re activate it .
  10. BUG: Freeze mask display appears to be busted in Beta 18. It shows up as a dark overlay like appearance and is not able to be shown/hidden using ctrl+f

  12. yeh ive been geting the same. i found that if you choose "sample by all layers " it wouldn't crash but I know thats not ideal workflow wize if you want to sample a color on a single layer :/ i'm sure a fix is on the way..
  13. Fill by gradient feels very slow in its updating and display in the recent betas
  14. got a crash on switching to color picker just before (beta 14 ) . bug report was sent. feels like it was only when "sample all layers " was OFF

  16. a mantis thread already exists http://3d-coat.com/mantis/view.php?id=1808 accidentally its filed under 4.1 though as far as projects go :/ and is sitting as "new" like most reports i assume he is a busy man. a) are 4.1 bugs still looked at? can you move issues in the 4.1 project in mantis to the 4.5 one? the beta version was installed via the installer... the only thing i did differently was change the install directory to have 4.5 at the end instead of 4. fresh install of beta 11 with beta 13A installed over the top. (issue was present in beta 11 so its not like the update changes anything)
  17. So i always would import a PSD via import layers color that contained several layers ... a AO bake.. a cavity... and a normal map bake. I would set the normal map to be a "normal map" via the blending mode drop down. in 4.5 this doesnt work and creates seams. however if i import a normal map via the import normal map option it doesnt create a seam. edit: compression really makes it hard to see my point via the image

  19. painting freeze masks was visible in 13A.... Can you make "Freeze Degree" pressure sensitive though please. this is a must have to paint smooth mask transitions
  20. So I only need one uv set. I'm not needing to split things up but I can confirm that moving all shells to a single 0 to 1 space (i.e. mirrored uv shells are on top of each other in the uv window) and ticking UV tiles gives a seamless result in 3dcoat with normal map applied. strange how this wasn't an issue in 4.1.17 beta though...
  21. no whats that? so i ticked that option on import and it appears to have removed the seams from what i can tell initially HOWEVER ... when i import a normal-map onto my model it is only appearing on one side of the mesh.... do i need all my UV sets moved to fit into the same 0 to 1 UV space? currently i have the mirrored side offset by one in the right direction.
