  1. I'm trying to move vertices around in the "Retopo room" Not going well. The Z-Bias and "Additional Excursion" work fine. When I select brush and move over vertices nothing happens. I tried selecting vertices-faces-edges then click brush, the selection dissappears. ?
  2. Ok. The first time I used decimate, the brush setting was too small. It gets very rapid when the brush size is larger. Like the resampling, spreads em out. Good to go!
  3. Hello, from Canada. I consider myself a junor 3D Environment Artist. I started using a computer about 3 years ago during college and have been a gamer all my life. Started just over 2 years ago learning at home in my spare time with UDK. Then started using numerous related software, such as Blender 3D, Gimp, Sculptris, almost all heightmap editors. Emerging from Sculptris and out of the "Open software" the 3D Coat trial software so far appears to fit with finer details and the need for high-low poly assets for models. I'm looking to use it for the creation of environment props and environment creatures. Hope to purchase over the holidays. Not sure if I would use Sculptris again. If life permits maybe I will be Intermediate soon!
  4. Watched many of the videos. Picked up the basics in a few days. Thx. I may have missed it but, I was wondering how to keep the details from distorting for "Resampling" (decimating). Is this possible by painting with pen, freezing or something!? Haven't tested how many poly's I can go but I would like to keep it a optimal range.
