  1. Ok so should not be a problem, just take care of the size then, because FLAK weapons are smaller than guns, if you take the proportion of your vessel and the gun, they are more like canon (big guns) than AA weapon. Concept look nice, and I am waiting to see it finished.
  2. Hi Malo, just for more credibility, each "tourelle" ( GUNS ) of the deck should be higher than the previous one, because if they all shoot in front of them, they ll distroy the gun just in front of them. For example look at this example form the Bismark (sorry cant insert html link, dont knoy why, but look on Google image to understand what I mean). Franck
  3. Hi Carlosan, it is a mesh coming from Mesh Fusion, a plug in from MODO. I have tried before posting here to scale up the object, but it ended the same way, 3DC close without any notice. The problem is that I don t have any message to tell me why 3DC close. For information, I did give the mesh to a friend who used Zremesher and he gave me back a really clean reduced polygon mesh. If you want, I can put here a bigger version of the mesh. Franck Protection_big.obj
  4. Hi, did some one tried ? Because I have tried several times, and still the same 3DC close without any information. Maybe I should give a try with Zremesher. Franck
  5. Hi, I tried with 2 differents object, and same result, 3DC close without any message. Version 4.0.16A. Windows 7 64 bits, 24 Go ram I7 2700K. See attach file for one of the file. I disable symmetry, and use voxelization before decimation. Franck Protection.obj
  6. OK cool. For the protection in ice hockey they are under socks, big colored socks. Envoyé de mon C6903 en utilisant Tapatalk
  7. Hi Monkeybrain, if I may as a Roller In Line Hockey player, here are some improvement you could do, 1/ The blade of the skate should be shorter and with a banana shape 2/ The plastic part that is holding the blade, has often a blending form at the edges with the blade, that make a more fluid line of the skate 3/ The leg protection ( sorry doesn't know he English word for that) should have 2 parts, the first one, the one you have sculpt in plastic, and a second one, large that continu from the side of the protection and surround the leg. 4/ The pants should be very large and thick. Take a look at some skates here : www.hockeymonkey.com Anyway, great sculpting, hope will have this skill one day. Franck
  8. Small Update for me. Now I am stuck with the hand, I have tried for 1h, and nothing came up good, any tips ? Any advice or tips are welcome. Franck
  9. Here is what I have came up so far as you may see, I am not a really good with 3D Coat, this is my first serious try with the program. If you can help me with critics, please do so. Franck
  10. Hi BeatKitano, it would be with pleasure if only I could. I dont have the talent that all participants have here, my work will be ridiculous compare to all yours. I have look some of your video on twitch.tv, your work is just amazing. Its only a few weeks now that I have bought 3D Coat, and I have some difficulties to use some Tools, my main concern, is the workflow to follow when beginning with a sculpt. Some good and complete tutorial is really missing. I have some good 3D bases with Blender for non organic modeling, but when it comes to organic it is different and I am really bad at it. Would be cool if one of you could take the time on a smaller project to make a tutorial with sound, that explain what you are doing and why you use this tool. Any way, great master piece of work here from all of you. Will may be try with Uncle Scrooge or Flagada Jones form DuckTales or paperinik, I love those comics Franck
