  1. what an amazing and beautiful pair of......oh hey look she's got eyes as well
  2. Since I gave up multiplayer gaming a few years ago, I stopped following all the latest H/W updates, and throwing endless cash at getting an extra 5fps. With all these changes just over the horizon, I may as well lumber on with this old rig for a little longer, and await the price drop for the current high end gear - get a better bang for the buck. Thanks for the input.
  3. That works! Cheers. Not sure why the usual method of baking directly from the autopo menu does not - are they different methods?
  4. Hey all, Just got a new graphics tablet after my old wacom died back in feb, but trying to get back into 3DC its clear my rig needs a bit more horsepower. However I'm still a bit weak financially. However I reckon I can scrape enough together for either a new CPU or GPU. So I was wondering is 3DC more CPU or GPU intensive for sculpting? Which one would be the best choice? If its GPU, which is better overall for 3DC - Nvidia or AMD? I've been an AMD user for ages, but TBH I find thier driver support rather a poor show, so I am already thinking about a switch to Nvidea. Regards,
  5. Apologies carlosan should have added that earlier. Its 4.5.16 and running on win 8.1.
  6. Hi all, Using autopo for perpixel, I go through all the stages fine, until bake occlusion. When I hit okay, the occlusion menu just vanishes and nothing happens, no calculations are performed at all. I get my autoped model in the retopo room, but nothing in paint room (exept high density voxel mesh) and no occlusion layer. What am I missing? Regards
  7. Just a quick heads up that curvy 3d from artform is on the steam weekly sale for 75% off. Gotta admit, I've tried curvy over the years, and never quite got its workflow but for under 20 quid, its tempting to add another tool to the toolbox. With that said, the latest improvements to the lathe tool in 3dc have somewhat removed curvys usp and there is the fact its tied to having a steam account to factor in.
  8. Confirmed - deleting the options.xml did indeed do the trick.
  9. Hi all, Just to add, as I am also suffering from this issue - if you zoom out you can then see the retopo mesh and edit it. Once you zoom back in, the editable retopo mesh does indeed vanish.
