  1. i agree with the proposed adjustments. teal should be replaced for the official green, and the background should be mode dark. @ajz3d: please share the stylish modification
  2. i keep getting logged out every time i leave the website.. very annoying
  3. I agree, new look is great! I kinda prefer the older darker color theme though. this one doesnt seem to match the colors of the software. but otherwise great job! makes everything look a more professional and reputable!
  4. with your email? you sync it with dropbox? like you have an email server? you really should switch to something cloud based, preferably gmail. it'll save you a lot of unnecessary hassle i think. if you need any help with that, just pm me.
  5. ye.. ive never heard anything good about eon... especially their support...
  6. if what you say is possible, sounds like it could be amazing!
  7. i dunno, it looks awesome in videos. But i struggle to to actually control it. the yellow dots are mostly stuck. and i cant get a decent face mesh out of it. also it doesnt support symmetry. but the live preview of the edge flows is awesome. And being able to define hard edges like that is also great. maybe with more practice i'll be able to get better results.
  8. not sure if this is the right place to post, but some kind of visual feedback while painting guides like this would kick ass!
  9. is there a way to rotate the viewport like a barrel roll? i have a character standing up and i want to write something on his leg, so i need to turn him like on a spinnging wheel, so i can write on his leg. like in modo, you can rotate by clicking on the edge of the screen and it rotates in 2d space, not 3d space. i hope that makes sense.
  10. vimeo has paid content too... i dont think it will reduce number of free tutorials. people who make them for youtube do it because they want to share. there are plenty of ways to already sell tutorials.
  11. i remember someone bringing up houdini engine integration. seemed dumb to me back then, but all the time seems like it would be a good idea. You'd get a bunch of procedural tools to build out models, and even add hair.. all kinds of interactive arrays, surface spreading etc..
  12. so when do you switch to substance, and when do you switch back? im just curious about the workflow.
  13. great stuff! is that battery time with keyboard attached? i read battery lasts a lot longer with keyboard attached. Thanks for providing information. please keep us updated.
  14. yup, if you're not gpu rendering or gaming, get the 970. i game and gpu render and still got the 970, and love it.
  15. bumpity bump? any response from management?
  16. i brought this up before, but it seems like everyone else is fine with it. for example when you incremental save and the next file already exists, it just overwrites it... a real bummer in my book. it should either add another number sequence. so if you have sculpt_001 sculpt_002 sculpt_003 and you open sculpt_002, and do incremental save, it should either make it sculpt_004 OR it should be sculpt_002_001. It really shouldn't just overwrite your other file... its a recipe for disaster..
  17. yup, was gonna say, for learning just get the free apprentice. then if you like it get indie. since indie is $200/year
  18. im pretty stoked they have them now its really crazy the amount of power there is available in such small boxes.
  19. have you seen forester for c4d/xsi? that thing is amazing! http://www.3dquakers.com/
  20. if this lets me inport alembic into unreal engine. that will be pretty cool for real time rendering of stuff i made in more traditional packages.
  21. yea! now thats some awesome work! amazing! really pro!
