  1. Ok, thank you carlosan. I will look at this.
  2. Hello carlosan Thank you for your answer. I mean this on the picture below. I did not find it in the popups menu. But in fact I said that thinking about the Material tab before the Smart material. Is it possible to use simple matetrials like before ? I mean, for applying a simple image on a surface ? I think I'm a little bit lost with the new smart material.
  3. Hello, I don't find the Stamp tab I used before the last release. Is it still in use ? And if yes, where is it ? I would like to put an image on a surface, but I don't know how without the stamp. Thank you for helping me. Staky
  4. Oh ok, thank you ! I didn't see it in the description...
  5. Hello, I'm not sure to be in the right section for this question, if not, sorry in advance. On the youtube channel of 3D-Coat, a serie of videos begins to learn how to make a dragon. I would like to make this tutorial, but I don't know where to find the blueprint of the dragon. Here is the firts video where we can learn to setup an image plane, but where is the picture ? If someone knows about this pic, it would be great Thank you
  6. I am on the 4.1.17D(GL64) so I don't use the last beta release. What I mean is that there are some shaders on the library, and when I click on one of them, nothing happens. I tried the right clic >> apply to visible, but nothing more. May be because it's an imported object ?
  7. Hello, First of all, thank you for your quick answers It seems I found why I was not able to paint on OBJ imported file. In the first appearing dialog box when I import the object, there is a lot of options and of on them is "Lock normals". When it checked, I cannot paint on the object, unchecked, it's ok. With the FBX imported file, checking or not this option doesn't matter for painting. Don't know why... I don't understand why blocking the normals stops the painting tool... May be you can try this to confirm (or not) I'm right ? One more thing : I would like to put a shader on my imported object, but I don't know how to do so. If someone would help me ? Well, sorry for my question who was based on a mistake I made... (also sorry for my english :/ ) Thank you again
  8. Hello, I would like to paint a imported model (exported from Blender in OBJ with UVs and a basic grey texture). I import it as "a model for per pixel painting" But I can't apply any color or texture within 3D-Coat. I can see the imported texture in the texture tab on the right and the UVs into the UV room. So I export from Blender the same object with the same UVs and texture as FBX file. I import it in 3D-Coat and... it works. Great ! But I would like to import OBJ files in 3D-Coat anyway. Is this a known issu ? And if yes is there a way to make it working well. Or what am I doing wrong ? If someone has an answer, it would be great ^^ Thank you
  9. Hello, I don't know if it's because of the perspective of the screenshot, but the high res mesh looks like not symetrical. I'm new to 3d coat, but as I know, to recenter your reference mesh, you can go to the voxel room, pick up the transform tool, then, on the right in the "tool options", you clic on "Reset space". This is to place the object in the center of all axes. May be there is a better way but I just know that one (hoping it's a good one...) Staky
  10. Hello, When could it be possible to use the new symetry system for Mac users ? The Mac version is a lot of steps behind. Thank you Staky
  11. Hoooo ! Ok, thank you and sorry for that bad question...
  12. Hello, I have an issu with baking a normal map of an high res object. I did the retopo, the UV mapping. When I right clic on the object in the retopo room, I don't find the "Merge with NM to Per- Pixel" Is there another way to bake normals from high poly to low poly ? Thank you.
