  1. Started something new, this one is based on concept by Huy Ozuno - https://www.artstation.com/artwork/turtle-c1821701-89bf-4e4e-8f5d-7df5bc39e6c8
  2. Looking good Dryulya, shoes turned out great. I tried sculpting a pair of converse all star for the challenge but they looked like a lump of mud, might need to try out your technique.
  3. Been working my way through your sketcbook, lots of cool and interesting stuff.
  4. ajz3d lol, i haven't seen that movie will need to check it out. Dryulya thanks, the legs and feet probably need more work, will get round to fixing them one day. BeatKitano, cheers, your characters are awesome. Another doodle, apologies for not finishing anything, these are just doodles to keep me busy. This one is based on a concept by Guilherme D'Arezzo http://mendigo-amigo.deviantart.com/art/Lone-Wolf-and-Cub-202156821 Bit of a rough block in, lots to fix as usual cheers
  5. Cool stuff Dryulya, nice job with the model and retopo.
  6. Cheers Dryulya. Something else i've been messing with, sculpt is far from done and super rushed paint job. Concept from creaturebox - http://creaturebox.com/
  7. Working on an orc based off a concept by Max Grecke https://www.artstation.com/artwork/orc-warrior-concept Might attempt to paint this if i finish it. cheers
  8. Thanks Taros, finally got my computer going again, back to doodling. Another one I won't finish, based on concept by Tyson Murphy https://www.artstation.com/artwork/another-girl-6c0e48fb-0eb0-4ff5-80f2-5daf09ddc809 Proportions are way off, just been eyeballing things, same with previous sculpts. Forgot to post ref used for my other wips wolverine Max Grecke https://www.artstation.com/artwork/wolverine-f45b5e0b-28d8-4e58-b75f-c942a3a4cac3 dinosaur Greg Broadmore http://www.gregbroadmore.com/index.php?page=23 male head Stepan Alekseev https://www.artstation.com/artwork/training_06

    Female Bust Study

Very cool, love the subtle features you've captured.
  12. Thanks for the response Javis, blocking with voxels and detailing in surface mode seems to be the way to go (for me anyway). The likeness is starting to show in the last pics you posted, the ears look a bit flat, i would maybe pull them out a wee bit so they don't look pinned to the head. Looking good though.
  13. Thanks Michaelgdrs and Javis, here's another floating head for the pile. Tried a female sculpt but its starting to look a bit manly, eyes look weird. My computer finally died last night (blue screens of dealth all week), so probably won't get a chance to fix this but its just for practice anyway.
  14. Cool sculpt Jarvis, coming along nicely. Quick question sorry, do you normally block in the volumes with voxels then detail in surface mode?
  15. Hey Garagarape, Scotland can be a nice place, weather is terrible though. I'm from just outside Glasgow so its a pretty rough area. Not a rugby fan im afraid, more football and ufc. Very cool stuff you have in here, the unwrap on that robot is insane must have took a lot of patience.
  16. I'm no expert but that looks like a nice clean bake, well done.
  17. @ Garagarape, thanks but i'm not really that skilled, i struggle with sculpting all my sculpts end up very lumpy. Here's another one i've been playing with, a lumpy wolverine, can't seem to get nice clean edges. Will probably abandon this one, its been doing my head in, need more practice.
  18. Thanks Digman and Tony Nemo, hoping that keeping a sketchbook will keep me motivated and less lazy cheers
  19. Hi, New user here, bought 3d coat at christmas and enjoying it so far. Here's a couple of things i've been doodling with while trying to learn the software, lots to fix but will prob move on to something new. Used concepts found on web.
