    Using 4.7.01 DX64 win 8.1 In sculpt room using Voxel mode I am using the cut-off tool with Circle Lasso I L.C. drag to activate then hit the spacebar and input my # and hit enter . All is good it is when I hit and hold the spacebar as to drag around to position the cut off circle that the Quick Access Panel comes up and when I mouse away I lose everything. I don't know if it has always been this way or its just a beta work in progress but I would think if I am in the middle of using a tool it should just hold my cut-off to let me drag and position it. A Request : A check box To Center Mass in the cut-off tool would take all the guess work 1,2,3, tries to just get it close enough and move on . Setting up the 2d grid is a option I know.

    A thousand thank you Carlosan . I was click dragging outside of the text box not inside . also I was left clicking and it is right click.

    With what tool do you use to Select the text to turn it (select ) blue . I tried the shape manipulation tool that starts blue when I click n drag all text . I can then change color and other things over in the tool options. but not the font. I am sure its something simple but I just can not fiind it. thanks for your time .

    I can not find how to change the Font when using the text tool. I see where it is in tool option on right next to layers. Or its the artistic text editing . I change it but it goes back to MS Shell dlg2 . Krita 3.0

    Boy I had tried to do the netting on and off 2,3,4, times then I gave up. So with this explanation I will be able to do it . Thanks a bunch to take the time. Its such a great effect / look that I just have to learn it. Your model looks great and the smoke effect.

    Your off to a great start. I can hear it from here with those pipes or should I say see it being steam pipes. Door handles no need for a convertible you just jump in ... or have them hinged as to be ramps heck you could make them slide into the frame like a pocket door.

    I am just wondering what is the other program you used for all the numbers and was it just its Text or you made the #s. Hard to see but it looked as if that #4 was outward curved as the other # s looked to be slightly inward. Glad you solved it.

    In Sculpt Room under the Objects choose IMPORT a pop up window appears check import w/o voxelization . then hit select mesh to get your file on same pop up window. I also hit the auto scale then apply. The video low poly import i think its called in it i wish it was done this way instead of getting the model from the Models box upper right. Reason being chances are it was built in 3dc or it was already brought in to be in the models .. It still is imported the video does explain all there is to know.

    not sure if it matters but the UV photo you posted I can see the whole other model on the left side a faint outline of it.

    I would ask a 3dc staff member moderator if all is good as far as the rules go. Rule # 3 all Sculpting and Texturing must be done in 3dc . Rule # 4 Poly-Modeled in other 3d modeling software is allowed . I think your with in the rules as long as if any sculpting and Texturing is done in 3dc and if your way is to poly model your entry then ok. Clarification on this would be helpful as to let all others who are poly - modeling in other software my self included to stop doing so and if that's the case then get rid of Rule #4 . Thanks for your time .

    Just wondering which build you are using. I think its ALT -Left Click to choose or hide just a 1 object / layer to work on.You can adjust each Layer that you have material on in every area Opacity % of it blend type list. depth ,etc. At the very top next to Help there is a box I think it says Always Left click on that for a drop down list concave,etc. 3dc is it own beast don't compare to any other program . Just accept the program for what it does and use that to your strength. To me 3Dc is a Flower Child from the 70s more open and free and can do almost anything . You should definitely use the Blender App-link it is a time saver. I think you might win longest 1st post award jk

    That bike sure has a lot going on . just make the rider a stick figure 1 sided sprite to even it out composition wise just kidding there. will the girl somehow be temporary connected to the bike when on it . Being that she is part mechanical . it is really looking good I can just imagine the MB_Textures that are going to be on it.

    One could put in a color code highlight the lettering of rooms as to visually see what rooms go together / work flow most of the time. Green for Paint ,UVs, and Tweak rooms a new user would see that they have something in common. say Blue for sculpt and retopo. Should also number them in front of there names 1,2,3 is paint ,uvs, tweak and 4,5, sculpt,retopo. # 12 would be render room.

    ah I was wondering if the driver would be offset to one side . you could give the front end a mono steel suspension like the old rat rods had from the 40s . The car looks great it kinda reminds me of a toy I had growing up called SST it had a rip cord to pull that center wheel.

    steel wheels a rolling . I love the all steel wheel ride ! I am sure the inside is plush with shag carpet.

    Looking good you have a lot going on . perhaps a hydro span wrench just kidding it off to a great start. I do love anything with a Tesla Coil on it.

    Thank you for the info on the new feature request . I think a great Idea can come from any level of user to bad 3dc has gone in this direction but think I know why as to get suggestions that are not already in 3dc and features that a new person has not looked into the program enough . I don't agree with it but that's fine too having to earn that level of expert comes with rewards and new goals to achieve.

    Moving forward to keep in pace with the industry I absolutely agree . For me what I call the core of the program needs attention as in every time I use it I can not believe that some things are not there but there is always a work around for it. Its all those smaller things that I think would keep the average user using the whole program more , longer , and bigger user base . I would take a more polished solid 3dc build (a Branch) with all its rooms striped but to there full potential . The learning curve is fine and no I don't want 3dc to end up like a Ray Dream Studio . My self I am just a average home user with just over 1 year using 3dc for recreation but I still have my 5 1/4 floppy's and the printed manuals of RDS but my 486 DX Machine is dead lol . If its one thing I do love is people who speak there mind I may or may not like what they say or agree with it but I do respect it . Having a place to even talk about making 3dc better is a Great thing that I do not take for granted.

    I am guessing that to start a new post you go up to Create > Topic > gives a drop down list of the same topics as on the board. I scroll down to Feature Requests but it will not highlight let me select it . Also what is Status > status update in the create drop down. thanks for your time. edit: Announcement is also like this. Which is where a Where a 3dc is going to be working on the web page Announcement should of been and a new webmaster topic to trouble shoot not buried in here. The Start New Topic button and Best Answer is gone or are we still working on the web page ? The Browse , Forums and the smaller home buttons all 3 do the same thing. a Top of page button at the bottom of threads would be nice.

    Hey Psmith I hear you on this subject . the program aggravates me in that never stop to fix , correct, polish what it has but always moving forward with latest greatest which breaks things then a bunch of fixes would look like progress but like you say it was already working .That's fine but take care of the core basic get the rooms set up to there full potential seams that things are just good enough to be there and have a Work around for it. I just accept it for what it is and move on. I just don't get it . if I did not care about the program I would not of typed a word about wanting it better .

    The 4 bands and all the bolts really sells there is compressed holding tank .
