  1. Ok. I got it. Am i right only one way to apply UV after retopo in the Paint room is to bake it?
  2. Thank you for response! Anyway that is so handely to have this button in retopo room. Maybe i want to create UV before a displasement map or another.

  4. Sorry for my english. I did mistake. I told you about REDUCING density of selected area. That will be cool if user could control density on the model at any time. Decimate and Resample surface works on whole surface, and they increases density.
  5. One more feature what wanted and i can't find - increase density (unsubdivide) selected. We have the subdivide tool in the Surface mode but haven't unsubdivide. I hope that will be good solution. Thanks!
  6. Andrew, I don't know how it possible to apply the same tool like the Zmodeller tool into 3DC, but your Retopo room may become more usefull, if you let to apply gizmo and some modeller tools like a Bevel, Extrude and etc.

  8. In the last release (4.5.09) i can't remove old AUTOPO curves. There spoil me my further retopology. How can i delete they? Thanks!
  9. Andrey, is possible to improve hard surface modeling? You have brilliant stuff for that, but it has some problem. For example: 1) First - i need to cut a peece by 3 directions. I can use Cut tool with Depth limit but sometimes it's not comfortable, because i can't control backside. Fine solution for that will be something like your amazing Plane tool by 3 sides. It would be to help user "pull out" peeces from model. 2)One more, your Split tool. Is it possible to make that working in Loop mode? Other words to draw line around division border and split by that. 3)And one more proposal. For correctly display hard edges you could be to make auto-allign voxel mesh by edge. It would allow to have on low resolution mesh sharp edges for further baking. Thank you!
  10. Hi everyone. I hav e two smqll question for you. 1)How can i disable Shift axis snapping of camera? That make me crazy.(( 2) When i switch between Smooth tool and other tools in Voxel room my 3DC rebuild mesh about 1 sec everytime. How can i disable that function? It slows down a workflow.((
  11. In the last BETA doesn't work the most regimes of degree in the smart material properties. On preview mode (i mean the sphere preview) everything is fine, but on the model and on Smart material preview doesn't work.(( Update: Hmm ..Everything is OK for premade models. But on my model it is not working. Tool doesn't feel sharp edges and paint it entirely

  13. Hi everyone. Quick question. How can i export diffuse map with alpha channel? I can't find that option in export tool. I have a model with metal layers, and the old scratched paint on top. I want to export to 3dsmax paint layer as diffuse but metal areas as alpha of diffuse. Thanks!

  16. Hi, Arumiat! I try to make from my highpoly surface including triangles, hightpoly of square polygons, for further unwrapping and texturing, without AUTOPO and baking. Pure highpoly and diffuse map, without Normal maps, displacement and other. I don't want to rebuild, reduce or increase count of polygon, how it's going by AUTOPO. I want to merge two triangles for one square)) (BTW - why in surface mode 3DC make mesh but not polys? Why dont' let to choose?) Why i can't use AUTOPO i wrote above - my model has many mistakes and it's going slow, and after retopo i lose sharp edge in hard surface. I 'll repeat, may be i doing wrong, i newbie and know a little.)
  17. Now i imorted as voxel object and started AUTOPO, but it freeze my computer out. Yeah,michael, i can use /max or Maya, but how can i do that in 3DC. Zbrush from the very beginning to sculpt poligons and let user to unwrap extreme high poly. 3DC has only one option - AUTOPO and nothing else. May be i can be wrong...
  18. Hello everyone! I have difficult model with many holes and mistakes of topologi. Manual retopologi of that take many time. AUTOPO not working fine and is crashing every time, although i've good configuration PC. No matter i doing it on hipoly or lowpoly i have problem with it. Even i have problem when try AUTOPO on basic head. Seems good solution for me could be quadringulating of mesh from triangles to quads. I don't care about weight of model, no difference to me how much polygons will i have, because this model won't be animated, just be rendering. And i don't want to bake model, i want to leave everything as in voxel room. In earlier versions 3DC AUTOPO was called Quadringulate, right? But seems to me, it was much easy, because 3ds max and Myay do that simply and quickly. Why i can't do that in 3DC and i have problems with AUTOPO, why i can't to leave density of mesh and just transform triangle to quads? I so tired every time restart 3DC. Glad if you'll help me. About my a configures: i have i5core with 4 cores. But 3DC take only 25% CP, i.e. 1 core. Is 3DC not support multithreading?
  19. Yeah! I already renamed the folder of 4.1.17D when i was installing new 4.5., and now i have 3dCoatv3 and 3dCoatv4 folders.
  20. Seems i solved this problem and got the new one. Every time when i try to export from FBX i receive error message "Cannot open temp file". What can i do with it?
  21. Really necessary, guys! I don't know may be that is issues of trial version or i do something wrong? When is painting finished i just click to export object and texture and receive only object without texture. ((((
