    V4.5 BETA (experimental)

I completely reinstall the program: 1. Uninstall 3D-Coat. 2. Reboot computer. 3. Download "4.5.40 - 64bit" from 3dcoat.com/download/ (from "EU" server). 4. Install "4.5.40 - 64bit" Then check Retopo layer clone functionality again: Nothing has changed. Please check my video. https://youtu.be/ywQs5lwUIFc Video Explanations: First, I checked whether the new layer is created or not by cloning: Not. А new layer not created, and must be created manually. It's OK! No problem with this! Second, I renamed the source Retopo layer to "TEST" and clone this layer again. А new layer not created, and must be created manually. It's OK! No problem with this! Third, I renamed newly created layer to "TEST1" and then clone my source layer ("TEST") again. А new layer not created, and must be created manually. It's OK! No problem with this! But this time source layer ("TEST") CLEARED! It's NOT OK! It's a bug.

    I'm used Win7 Home Ext. 64 bit. 3D-Coat 4.5.40 (DX64), 3D-Coat 4.5.37 (DX64) New Retopo layer not created by layer cloning.

I've already tried that. Nothing changes. Faces moved, not cloned. Have you looked my video? The video shows the bug for a certain condition of layer names. What exactly works? Works new layer auto-creating with source Retopo layer clone?

    V4.5 BETA (experimental)

I'm using Win7, 4.5.40(DX64) This steps working ok only if source layer name started with "RetopoGroup". Otherwise faces moved to newly created layer, not copied (cloned). That is all faces in source layer is removed. Try rename source layer to "LOD0" and repeat steps.

Thank you for tips. I tried do it step by step, but, unfortunately, "MOVE ALL FACES TO CURRENT SELECTED LAYER" moved faces from source layer instead of copy.

More specifically: I can create clone of Retopo layer ONLY with this steps: Rename Retopo Layer to "RetopoGroup". Click on this Retopo layer. Click "Select all faces of this layer". Click "Add a new layer". Click "Selected -> Clone" Click "Apply". Click "Yes".

    V4.5 BETA (experimental)

Thank you for testing. New info: New layer created only if layer name started with "RetopoGroup". For example, for layer with name "LOD0" new layer not created.

    V4.5 BETA (experimental)

Version 4.5.37, 4.5.40: "Clone" Retopo object doesn't work in Retopo Room: new Retopo object not created. Steps: Click on Retopo object layer in "Retopo objects" list. Click "Select all faces of this layer". Click "Selected -> Clone" Click "Apply". Click "Yes". Result -> new layer is not created in "Retopo objects" list as expected.

Bug: App Crash on Export Layers

Thank you digman. I export for apply to another similar model. Of course, now I do it the other way, consistently exporting all necessary layers. That is the work goes on But with just one click (Export Layers w/ Depth, Color & Glossiness) it would be easier to do.
