  1. Ah i was away for sometime guys ,could`t login sorry about that .So there is one thing to mansion ,i forget to add that before. If you put your brush radius to big number and try to paint on low-poly its getting much much more laggier , its like 3-5 FPS lagg on 30 polys. The bigger the radius the laggier it gets. I hope this help the developers. Thanks Best
  2. Hello again After so long time , sorry i`m reviving this threed again . But i did find out why 3D Coat is lagging ,and i think it may help someone.I`m using this sofware in my pipeline quite often . And i have problem not only with Smart Materials, but painting in general. So let me explain the issue. If you start 3D Coat and you load the robot example from it , everything works just fine with this robot . And i couldnt put my finger on that , why i can paint perfectly fine on this robot , and why is lagging a lot on my models . I don`t know exactly the technicle aspects behind it , but its because the UV`s . Now see the Robot uv`s , there are broken in to many small picese , many small shells. And it seams 3D Coat is working great with small shells of UV`s . If you create one simple Cube , and automapped it (which makes 6 quad-shaped UV`s taking the entire space of the map) or even ....if you crate one plane which is one face ,and your UV that way is one big square taking from 0 to 1 ,and importat that in 3D Coat its lagging like hell when i try to paint on that object , i can rotate the cameras without any problem but as soon as i start paint and its going bad . It seams its working okay when UV shells are small and borken , and not work well when they are big coming from low poly model and when there is a big faces taking a lot of UV space . So i don`t know why is that but i`m with Radeon R9 280x,and that card is ferly new , so if that card is behaving like integrated card from before 5 years on 1 face it makes me belive that this may be a bug . So decide to share it , it may help the developers .Anyway if its not a bug , and its normal ,then i`m sorry for spaming Thanks guys and best . p.s. I forgot to mansion on every test that i made , document size was 2048x2048
  3. Hello to all, So let me first say , the new 3D Coat is amazing I actually change my entire workflow now with 3D Coat , and its so much better. Anyway , i had noticed something strange . So I was texturing some props with the new smart materials ( PBR system in general) in 3D Coat , and it looked pretty good.I exported everything in Roughness/Metalness Workflow and using GGX (Unreal4) . So after i import everything in Unreal 4 and after i apply materials , the end result is not quite like it has to be . I`m seeing some difference in the materials , its like Unreal4 is not reading the roughness map correctly . I did some searching around and i found out that users of Substance Painter/Designer have problem with that, and when they import textures in Unreal4 , they are switching off sRGB for Metal and Rough maps . I tried it , and of curse there is a difference but i`m wondering if the end result is accurate enough. IF someone have experience with that , and can tell me if they are switching on/off sRGB , would be awesome Thanks.
  4. Yes but i`m testing right now with mouse , however i have installed wacom tablet .
  5. I did but nothing new . However i did find something very strange , no meter what object i open they all give me same issue ,some more than others , when i make my radius on my brush bigger is starts to get worse . And in the Smart Material Preview window, i can see the detail from normal map and AO is all distorted . However here is the strange part , only model that is okay is the Robot . When i load it , and i`m making texture resolution 4096 , i can paint without any problem and that is on 4096 , and if i load my simple plane with 1 face and i paint on 2048 with big brush is lagging like hell. Thanks
  6. Hello, Yeah i know , i tried all 4 possible versions , but not effect. Thanks
  7. Hello, I need urgent help.Today i downloaded 4.5.03 ,uninstall the beta version that i had on my PC and installed the new one . In the mean time i did get notification , that there are new Radeon drivers . And i decided to download them as well, after i install everything when i opened 3D Coat while painting textures on simple plane i have heavy brush lag , when i stop painting is okay but but when i try to paint the lag is brutal . I tried painting on every object in 3D Coat library ,and exactly the same thing . I uninstall my gpu drivers and install the old once , with no effect . I uninstalled 4.5.03 , and installed 4.5 B13A again ,no effect yet , actually i did try several 3D Coat version , but without any effect . Before that it was working like a charm with 4.5 B13A. My PC is with : Radeon R9 280X , 16 GB ddr3 , Core i7 4790k Thanks
