Yes, 3D-Coat creates only the necessary maps (image files) for the shader selected in the preset. You need to create new mia_material_x and connect the exported maps to the corresponding slots.

For baking custom lights you can setup lights in render room and use Light Baking Tool. Ambient occlusion is only evenly distributed light. -
AO could be baked only for first( main) UDIM square

UDIM numbering need for your render. I have no idea why curvature bakes ok and AO not Can you send me the .3b file with a similar result for the test?
