  6. Hi, after I bake (per pixel no baking option) I end up with jagged edges around my texture map in the paint room. Is the normal or is there a way to get sharper edges around the texture? thank you 3DC 4.5.19
  7. Is there a way to flip an object in the sculpt room horizontally? I looked for a flip horizontal/vertical and tried to scale -100? thank you 3DC 4.5.19
  8. It would be great to be able to use the transform tool on the image on the uv island (texture map) and see it up date in real time on the 3D object in the paint room. I have an enormous amount to learn and I am still new to this so the last thing for me to do would be to ask for new functionality (maybe when I am a seasoned pro in a few years). thanks for all of the replies

I think this is the closest and for now the best method for me is to learn how to create better texture maps (I suck but then its very new to me) which in turn will make things easier in Photoshop. The issue I have is texturing seamlessly from one island to the next so thought that putting the image into 3D would help. thanks again
  11. Thank you. I should have been a lot more specific. I have attached an image. I would like to be able to transform the stag image on the texture map but can't see how to do it in 3DC. So in the retopo I can select the island and use the gizmo on it and thought there might be something similar for the texture map in paint thank you again
  12. Thank you, I have been unable to work out if it is possible to add an external image to the object itself. So instead of painting I add an image to the texture map - sorry if my original post was confusing at all. I can add an image via Photoshop and then I have the image on a layer in the paint room but I cannot manipulate that image. So I wondered, after watching a lot of 3DC videos and also several tutorials that I bought from Udemy, if it is possible? Michael, thanks for responding but I believed this to be a forum for newbies and that is why I posted after taking a lot of time to find out before I just asked. I would not want to waste your time as appreciate that some ppl just post without putting the hard yards in first. thanks again

  15. Hi Is it possible to move vertices, edges or faces on the uv map showing in the retopo room. I would like to line up the edges etc. shown in the image. I can select the object edges which selects the corresponding map edges but its a bit hit and miss thank you 3DC Mac 4.5.19
  16. thank you for the reply. the re-calculate map under the textures menu - not sure where that is under the texture menu (there are a few options I could chose) and what it does as I am already re-baking in the retopo room? 3DC 4.5.19
  17. If I use Layers > Erase Unfrozen or fn + backspace on my macbook then I end up with an odd invisible object and when I then remake the texture editor shows moving transparent windows. Bit confused with the process of bake > paint but then re-bake if needed. thanks

  19. Hi, I select a freeform cube (image 1) and it is placed at the origin. When I try to select several vertices using the rectangle lasso tool the freeform cube jumps from the origin and the camera zooms right out (image 2). Am I using the wrong tool to select the vertices or is it a bug? thank you in advance
