  1. Salut, Je ne crois pas qu'il y ai un truc comme nanomesh sur 3DC malheuresement. Pour faire ca, j'essayerai de faire une shader avec une normal map, jouer avec les splines ou faire ca a la main avec des alphas.

  3. Hello, in the sculpt room, I try to use Alphas to speed up my workflow. If I use the Stamp mode or Stamp drag mode, my alphas are really really low res, it's all pixelated. I tried with 2kx2k alphas on a dense mesh. Is there a special brush I need to use ? or a special workflow ?
  4. hello, I created a new folder in the alpha window in 3DC. Every time I tried to drag an alpha into it, 3DC crash and I go back to desktop. Any Idea why this would happens ? I have a lot of problems with importing in 3DC lately :/ Thanks macOS 10.12, 3DC 4.7.11

  6. I had the same problem. I never knew what did that. I sent a email to support, but I never found a solution. But it doesn't happens anymore on the new versions of 3DC a least (for me).
  7. Salut Charlie, Il y a un forum français plus bas dans le forum, tu devrais poser tes question la-bas, il n'y a pas beaucoup de gens qui peuvent comprendre ta question ici. Par contre, j'ai pas utilisé la version d'essai depuis très longtemps, j'ai du mal à me souvenir de ce qui est possible ou pas. Test dans la version d'essai, ca sera probablement la façon la plus rapide d'avoir la réponse. Hésite pas si t'as d'autres questions sur le logiciel, j'essayerai d'y répondre.

  10. It crashes for me too when I work on a mesh that I created in an earlier build if I'm switching between Voxel and Surface mode. tested on mac in .39 and .40.
  11. If I can give my opinion on this subject. I think you're right. This stuff will be useful for everyone, so it should be the priority of the dev team. BUT, I'm a concept artist and I use 3DC to do some concept and quick texturing, and when I do creatures design It would really help to have a solution to do hair & fur. it's a part of the "sculpt" part for me. I lose a lot of time if I have to go in zbrush or blender just to do this, I try to stay in 3DC as much as possible (I usually sculpt, then I texture my high poly model and I render), so this could speed up my process a lot. Maybe something with the spline tool or a way to mask an area in surface mode and grow hair on it. I would also like if I could use the gravity simulation of the clothes tool with it. Nothing too complex, just a fast way to show to a client what it could look like. (I would like to help but I know nothing about programming ). I hope this help a little.

  13. Is it better to report bugs here or to right an e-mail to @support ? I have this message when I add a HDRi to 3DC. http://i67.tinypic.com/2mmac1j.png There's no "don't show again" box, so I guess this is a bug. Also, I can"t delete the 6 firsts alphas. If I create a new folders, these are here by default anyway and I can't delete them. (And Thank you Sergyi for the new mac&linus builds )
  14. I almost did a post about this a few days ago on this. There's a clothes tool with gravity & friction simulation, I'd love to be able to use these simulations with the curves tool when I insert Splines. Maybe there's also a way to use this is the paint room with smart materials as well ?
  15. It's not just you, there is indeed no progress bars in 3DC on OSX. It's very annoying, I never know if 3DC is working or frozen.
  16. Hi, I'm testing the new shaders and they are amazing ! I sculpted a quick bust in voxel, then I applied a shader with opacity at 0.8 but after that I can see through the model, not just the part with shader at 0.8 opacity. (No retopo or UV, and I just paint some color in the paint room). like this : http://sendvid.com/7wrfk805 Is it a bug or something that I don't understand about 3D ? Also, IDK if it's important, but on this mesh 3DC crash immediately If I try to resample or if I go from surface mode to voxel mode.
  17. What do I need to rename ? My retopo objs each have a unique name in the retopo room, and I renamed surface materials and paints objects in my UV room already.
  18. thanks for the help Carlosan. What do you mean by "merge to the paint room" ? ATM, when I export obj&textures, 3DC create every map for the 1st retopo obj, but after that it overwrite everything because it save the maps of the 2nd obj with the same name (like "untitled_default_map"). Is there a way to change that ?
  19. Hi, I created a scalp with multiples voxel assets, then I did the retopo and UVs on each one of them and I did my texturing in the paint room. Now, I try to export everything to marmoset, I use "export obj & textures" and it works, but it export only the maps for one part of the mesh. Can I export every maps for every part of the mesh ? or do I have to merge UVs and Maps before exporting ? Thanks
  20. Thanks Digman and Hartman ! Split tool and and saving freeze selections are not really the same. I'll change the way I work and I'll be OK, I don't need polygroups. Is there any discussions about adding a way to have selections saved on the mesh (like polygroups), instead of in a file ?
  21. Hi ! I looked but I didn't find anything, is there an option in 3Dcoat to have something like the polygroups in zbrush ? Or a way to save a selection on a mesh ? Thanks.
  22. Dogma, I checked it and it is deselect. It happens when I have the layer "normal map" visible, so it's something I'm doing wrong with my UV I guess :/. I'll keep looking at tutorials.
  23. Hi everybody, I have some questions about the retopo->UV->paint in 3Dcoat. I probably do something wrong because I have something like this at the end: View My Video I have my mesh in voxel mode, I clone and smooth it. Then, I use autopo, I unwrap UV and I bake with the 1st mesh. Do you have an idea of why this happens ? I watched videos on youtube about retopo in 3DC, but I really new to 3D and I don't really know what I'm looking for and where to find the answer. Thanks.
  24. AbnRanger I try but it doesn't work. I send a mail to support yesterday, I hope I'll have an answer from them. On mac, you can't update your GC drivers manually, it's done via an update to the OS, it's automatic and it's done by apple. I'm sure I could fine a solution to do it myself, by downloading it from internet and C/C it in the system, but I'm a little afraid to do it myself. My OS is up to date, so I don't think that's the problem. If nothing else works, I'll try to see how I can do that. Thanks again everybody for the help.
  25. I installed the new BETA but it still doesn't work. I'll do a series of video of every bug I've encountered and send a mail. Thanks for the help anyway.
