Hello, Is there a way to create glow or luminance with 3DCoat ? If so, how ? with PBR maybe ? (I have found some Glass PBR but not glowing PBR) Does some video tutorials cover this ? I have a attached two images showing what I would like to achieve.

True, Newtek was reselling the TVPaint technology under the "Aura" name until 2002-2003 then it was bundled with the VideoToaster only. But to sum up the story quickly, TVPaint evolved on its own after that, mostly to specialize in the 2D Bitmap animation field. Today, we are behind some cool films & games : the Song of the Sea, Ethel n Ernest, Red Turtle, Hirune Hime, Charlie Brown, StarCraft, Overwatch, etc. Thanks for the links. I already watched some of the videos and will post some questions later. In the past, I used to play with Poser, Silo and Filer Forge for 3D stuff. So I need to think different today. End 2015, I looked into Substance Painter, ZBrush and 3DCoat. I felt more confortable with 3DCoat approach, so I decided to go ahead with it. Playing with voxels and PBR is cool and interesting, I wish I can practice more in the future.

Hello from France. As software developper myself in the field of 2D Bitmap Animation ( tvpaint.com ), I use to try various kind of software, mostly by curiosity and to learn something new everyday. I wanted to go deeper into 3D (it's relaxing for me to discover 3D, as I'm a 2D specialist ! Don't ask me why ) , so I tried various stuff such as Blender, Silo, Maya, 3DMax, ZBrush, Substance Painter ... and discovered 3D Coat.
