Hi allexr, I'm watching your youtube speedsculpting about the Fantasy Flying Ship and I wonder what is the difference between the hide tool and the cut ? Sometimes you use the hide and others the cut and I don't see any difference :/

On my first try I used a cube and then cut the primitive but from hard surfaces I found that was difficult to turn the result into something smoother. So now I started from scratch again with the Lathe primitive and I modify it with the pose tool.

Hi ! I would like to make the train in the Syberia game. I'm a beginner with 3D Coat. I've started some basic shapes on 3D Coat but I'm not satisfied with the result for now ... I struggle to have nice and smooth shapes so no screenshots of it today

I have the same questions about polycount and UV ... I would like to replicate the train from the game Syberia but I don't know if it's a steampunk style or not ? What is exactly steampunk ? And last but not least question : I'd like to try to hand-paint the textures is it allowed or do you want us to use PBR materials only ? The attached file is the train I would like to replicate.

Really impressive for a first project ! I hope mine will look as cool as yours. I think the knees are maybe too wide and the head is little compared to the rest of the body but I'm not an expert.

Thank you very much for your link and your response I think you're right, I have to try and that contest is truely a great motivation to push me and get some result before the 10th july !
