Thanks again for your response, animk.
I know for a fact that a dual boot process is not possible with the software that I'm currently using.
Parallels Desktop can only operate AFTER the macOS is fully up & running.
There is no need to re-boot when working within either operating system. The enduser simply chooses the desired application window and begins working in it.
In fact, if the enduser desires, there’s an option available called coherence that allows working within both operating systems at once - dragging and dropping files into desired locations ( individual application windows). The end-user can honestly forget which operating system they’re working in with that option enabled. It’s really quite seamless. As a beta-tester, this particular setup is very useful to have when comparing software application behavior.
FYI, I am currently running 3D-Coat Version 4.9.72 (DX64) within Parallels Desktop, so I can confirm that it does function & behave as intended. However the 3D-Coat GL version does not run so perhaps some answer(s) can be derived from that behavior.
With all of that said, I'm still curious if the placement of those missing files (in the correct location) would resolve my issue.
Perhaps some other knowledgeable endusers may have some helpful suggestions.
