  1. Hello. I’m selling my macOS 3DCoat v4 license for $250. I'll accept Paypal only as I need the credit with them.
  2. Is there a way to temporarily snap to grid, for example to start a cut operation with a circle centered at an object but without snapping to every grid division?
  3. Hi. When I hide the clip mask layer, the masked layer ignores that and still shows the effects of the mask. Is that a bug or is there an alternate way (without removing the clip mask)?
  4. When can we expect the next major version and what features would it probably have?
  5. Is there a way to merge or merge on export all the paint objects into a single material? Because when I import the mesh from UE4 it has multiple materials.
  6. An automatic hourly backup to another disk/Pendrive/Google Drive/DropBox is a great saver in these situations. There are a lot of free programs that let you select the folders to backup, so you could always have your projects folder readily available should shit hit the fan.
  7. @Carlosan: that's in the paint room. I was talking about the sculpt room. I tried anyway, no difference.
  8. @digman: I've seen in older videos that the frozen regions were softer and grayish, much like ZBrush. Now I get a horrible black mask. I'm using the standard clay shader. Do you care to share your shader settings? Thanks.
  9. Is it possible to paint and export multiple textures for the same UV set? I'm thinking sort of different skins for a single model. Also, how would I go about multiple LODs?
  10. Thanks digman, I'll check it out. I used mostly the quads tool, which doesn't seem ideal in this case.
  11. How do you straighten the edges in a retopoed mesh? I find it very hard to produce a low poly model with accurate edges.
  12. Hi, i have trouble retopoing with radial mirror. It worked recently but then the retopo mesh started acting. The model is cube shaped and symmetrical. So i retopoed one corner and mirrored with 8 parts. It worked, but now each part is thin if i use a value of 8. Edit: nevermind, sort of solved it.
  13. I meant if you create your own models as part of your workflow and whether you do it inside 3d coat or in other 3d application. Edit: more specifically, how suitable is 3d coat for making kitbash sets to reuse within 3d coat.
  14. Do you make your kitbash models inside 3d coat? If so, what is your workflow?
  15. Hi. I got some questions : 1 - What is your hard surface Workflow? 2 - Is there a way to unsmooth a voxel object? I find sometimes I smoothed something too much and can't reverse it. 3 - How do I keep my edges hard and smoothed? 4 - What's a good voxel resolution level for hard edges and small details? I find myself using 8x or above and I'm not sure that's how it's done. Thanks
  16. I solved the cuda install, but 3d coat still doesn't appear to be using cuda.
  17. I do but I guess they are broken. I tried updating and the update fails. Edit: Solved it using the driver from the dev toolkit.
  18. Hi. 3d coat on my mac shows (GL64) but not CUDA, does it mean it isn't using CUDA at all?
