  1. I think perhaps it's a little too Zbrush like, but I think every effort to change this ugly mid-2000 linux distro-esque look of 3dcoat are great!
  2. 2 issues I ran into in 2022.34 (36 too) 1. If you make a hole in a mesh with 'act as a VoxHide' (I used Base Clay with some noisy alpha) it's almost impossible to close that hole with the inverted (ctrl+) brush. 2. Brush rotation doesn't seem to be saved along with the brush preset. 3. Actually in thin meshes 'Act as a VoxHide' can create new holes, even in the inverted (unhide) mode.
  3. I would say generally some good ways of let's say post processing the mesh would be cool, so e.g some menu where you could 'clay polish', sharpen the whole mesh etc (not just by using the brush).
  4. That enables me to choose which model to bake to. I want to chose which model to bake from.
  5. I wanted to simply bake a high poly mesh to a low poly, seems like I can't just choose which high poly mesh I can use. I can't seem to find any explanation what is baked exactly and from what room. Is it all mesh except the low poly baked onto the low poly? Is it name based? I find it really obscure, in SP I just plug all the right models bake and then texture without any archaic menus.
  6. For me the flatten tool is pretty useless. Try the preset I posted here to get sharp planar surfaces .
  7. @Carlosan 2022-06-21 19-26-32.mkv Here's a comparison between the default Chisel and my preset. As you see chisel is not what I'm after, there isn't a default brush that does what I want.
  8. Closer? To what? Definitely not 'Trim Smooth Border'. It doesn't stick to the same plane, which is what Trim Smooth Border does, so I'm not sure how you can say it's closer.
  9. I wonder if it's at all possible to create a brush that works like 'Trim Smooth Border' in Zbrush, I feel like it's an indispensible tool for creating rocks. It seems to not be possible at all in V4, but in 3dcoat 2022 I managed to create a brush with a similar effect in making surfaces planar, but I feel like a lot of subtle behaviors of 'Trim Smooth Border' are missing. Anyway, I attach the preset, would be cool to see the actual brush recreated (or something better) sometime. TrimRock.preset
  10. I'd really love to see a brush that works like Trim Smooth Border in Zbrush, It's really indispensible when making rocks. I recently tried making a similar brush in 2022 and editing the Trim Adaptive I could get something that resembled it a little, but the devil is in the details, I couldn't get something that worked the same on the adjacent geometry.
  11. I'm making rocks made out of smaller meshes and I have quite a few ones. Is there a way to quickly select multiple objects through a marquee selection or some other way? I don't want to click or shift select them in a hierarchy.
  12. So you're saying that for example when you want a brush that makes grooves/cuts like 'Dam Standard' in Zbrush, you'd prefer to always keep ctrl pressed rather that just use the pen? I'm really not sure how to politely comment this, I really struggle to believe you can be this shortsighted. Besides I can live without it being in that exact spot, as long as it's there in the tool options panel for example.
