  1. Thing that I did for Atomhawk Solarpunk Challenke 2019 and some WIPs. Modeled in 3Dcoat and rendered with Octane in Unity plus overpaint in PS

  3. Denis Bogolepov and Danila Ulyanov have announced LightTracer, an early release of their browser-based GPU rendering engine. The engine allows the user to upload an OBJ model and have it progressively render in the browser using your PC’s GPU (both discrete and integrated GPUs are supported). You can add mesh lights, HDRI environments, and create two-layer physically-based materials. Light Tracer is currently free to use and compatible with Chrome and Firefox. Try it out on the official website.
  4. If you already have everything baked, it can mess up everything if you unify UVs. I tried that but process never finished . I tried to move one map back to original UV set but messed up my UV in paint room. Sometimes you have smaller object and bigger on one UV and you need to use different baking cage options. I tried to go with name correspondence and all that but I always ended up to bake things separately. In this video polytoots shows the problem from 24:31
  5. Hello, is there any update on fix? It makes pretty impossible to bake more complex objects. I tried to move UVs in UV room back to first UV map but it takes forever and sometimes messes up in paint room. Thank you

  8. I am using 4.8.37 and seems like the problem is occurring when selecting liveclay preset brush, in my case it was amScifi A,B and C. When switching to other live clay tool and switching back to live clay with same preset selected, issue is gone. But always occurring when going right away using preset and closed stroke.
  9. Hello, I got this issue in surface mode, in closed curve stroke, stroke is not closed, leaving gap: Is it a bug or I am missing something?

  11. What you can do is hover over that painted spot and hit H to select layer that it is painted on.
  12. Yes, once you have retopo cage created, you can mark seams and unwrap in retopo room or hit automap
  13. I had this issue as well, noticed that it usually happens when select this option on sculpt layer, on voxel it works for me.
  14. Hello, will there be any update on cavity? Something like dynamic curvature so you don't need to calculate curvature every time you paint with normal.
  15. @kev00 This is better workflow for me 1. Sculpt an object 2. Retopo 3. Create UV maps in retopo room 4. Bake 5. Switch to paint room and texture on low poly mesh 6. Export
  16. I think that snapshot3d is pretty cool, plenty of control over those alphas
  17. Here is another project i want to share, I modeled a bot and did autopo, did pretty good job, but i may redesign the mesh later
  18. I am doing retopo of my gunblade, still WIP, meesing with smart materials and details, had to do some design changes, soon on marmoset viewer
  19. Here is my submission for Hum3D challenge, all geometry is done in 3dcoat, rendered in Octane, small touch ups in photoshop
  20. you can straighten vertices to line with transform tool, just select them on retopo mesh and scale them to according side and they will get straight in the line
