  1. Ok. I figured out some of the issues are broken in version 4.9.17 (The stable version!). I found this thread and realized moving the Smart Material editor and moving Smart Material layers up and down is broken! I was able to download the beta version from that same thread and those features do work there.
  2. Correction: On the last sentence I meant to say "There's no icon that appears next to the name of the Smart Material layer, which would allow me to move the layer around."
  3. Hi. I am a new user and I'm having some menu issues while following tutorials. The first issue seems to be that I am unable to drag menus out so that they stay visible. There doesn't seem to be a "Grip" texture on the top of the menu. Here's the Freeze menu for example. There's no way for me to drag it out: I have a similar problem with Smart materials. When I open the Smart Material editor so I can create a new one, there's no way for me move it around. When I Mouse over it, the mouse does not turn into a move cursor. Additionally, I am unable to order the smart material layers. There's no icon that appears next to the name of the Smart Material layer, which would allow me to move the dialogue around. Am I missing something here? Maybe there's a setting I need to tick? Thanks. Specs: Version 4.9.17 Windows 10
  4. @ajz3d Hello! How do you get to the import settings? I can not seem to find it.
  5. @Carlosan Hi! I tried your suggestions but I still get no vertex colors. Do I have to switch shaders or something? I've attached 1) my blender PLY export settings and 2) a screenshot of 3Dcoat with the model imported in
  6. Hi there! I've done some vertex painting on a model in Blender and I'd like to import my model for further vertex painting in 3D Coat. I haven't been able to find any resources on how to do this. All tutorials I've seen talk about a voxel room, which doesn't seem to exist anymore? When I open up 3D coat, there is an intro panel that has the option to "Import for vertex painting". I've tried this but the mesh imports and I cannot see any vertex colors. Painting with the brush seems to work though. Any clue why this is happening or how ot fix it?
