  1. Hello, I am selling a 3DCoat Professional 4.9 license. The software has never been anywhere close to usable for me, so therefore just name your price. Thank you, Ludvik.
  2. Also, forgot to mention, hiding and uhiding paint layers also freezes UI for very long, about 7 seconds.
  3. Hi, I am currently running 3DCoat 4.8.18 on GTX1080Ti with latest nVidia drivers. When I was playing with smart materials, every time I clicked on a mesh using fill tool to fill a mesh with smart material, I got about 5 second long UI freeze, where 3Dcoat was unresponsive. I assumed that's just because smart materials are being calculated so long. When painting them, everything is fluid. However, I just noticed that when I try to un-maximize 3Dcoat window, and resize it, any action that changes size of the 3DCoat window results in even longer freeze, about 10-20 seconds. So there is definitely something weird going on with the performance. How do I solve this? Thanks.
  4. Yes. thank you, I already figured it out myself, just few moments ago. Quite obscure setting. Perhaps should be disabled by default. The problem of 3Dcoat in general is that there is growing amount of settings scattered around the UI almost randomly, without any categorization, so it's easy to miss things
  5. Hi, I am having a huge issue when trying to import FBX file from Blender for texture painting in 3D coat. I have about 10 separate objects in Blender, all of them already properly UV mapped, and I need to get them into 3D Coat. When I import FBX file into 3D Coat, I get an error about square of the UV set being too big, and once I import, all the objects get attached into one with overlapping UVs, which is ridiculous. This is definitely not an error on the side of Blender's FBX exporter, because the FBX imports into 3ds Max just fine, even with correct hierarchy preserved. I need a good and simple workflow to bring an asset composed of multiple separate objects, each of them with their own UVs into 3D coat without merging it all together. Thanks.
  6. Oh, I see, sorry about it then. I will try 4.8.08, and if it doesn't work, I will send it to Andrew. Thank you for your patience
  7. I don't think you are getting my point here It's not about if the area is closed or not, but about being able to create a point precisely aligned to the previous one (that's what holding Shift key does) outside of the object surface.
  8. I am using 4.8.07. It's not the very last one, but according to the changelog, nothing related to that was fixed in 4.8.08. I've made a video of the issue to better illustrate it:
  9. Hi, I have tried this. Found all the entries, deleted them, loaded hotkeys from the file, but not luck. Those hotkeys still remain assigned.
  10. Hi, yes, that is exactly what I am doing - pressing escape. Yet, the thing shown in the video still happens. Even after pressing Escape, starting a new stroke will connect stroke to an end of the previous one.
  11. Hi, I am trying to create my own clean 3Dcoat hotkey map from scratch, but I am noticing that every time I remove a hotkey using backspace key, the state does not get saved. The only way to remove a hotkey assignment appears to be to assign a key to some other feature. This makes it a bit challenging to create a clean hotkey layout from scratch. How do I fix this? Thank you in advance.
  12. Hello, I am having a difficulty to figure out how to end a stroke in Vertex Line brush mode to start a new one. Right mouse button opens a context menu, so the only logical option to end stroke placement mode is Esc key. However, when ending stroke in Vertex Line mode using Esc key, when placing a new set of strokes, after initial placement, one additional stroke is created from the place where the last stroke was ended. So I can not figure out how to tell 3Dcoat to start a new stroke instead of connecting it to the old one. Here's a video of the problem: Thanks in advance.
  13. Hello, I am trying to place straight lines with vertex lasso tool. When holding down Shift key, vertex lasso snaps to straight angles, which is great, however I am able to place these angle-snapped points only on a surface. As soon as I click outside of the surface, the lass point just won't be created as long as Shift key is held down. This makes it very difficult to create angle-aligned lasso selections that need to be outside of the object to cover all the edges. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks
  14. Yep, exactly... It's quite perplexing that such essential functionality is missing from such a complex piece of software with such a long history... :|
  15. Hi, I've found out that the state "CUDA Smooth Boost" option present in geometry menu of Sculpt layout is not remember after restarting 3DCoat. If I enable it, and restart the software, I always find it disabled. Is this a bug, or is it by design? If it's by design, I am curious what is the reason, as all the other settings in that group do get remembered. Thanks
