  1. Hey Carlosan, Thanks for the reply i noticed now, i will check this pipeline, i personally didnt texture inside 3D coat, but is if possible to export the mesh with diferent materials assigned to the model that will help me a lot to export to other programs as UE and Unity
  2. Hey there everyone.. I've been using 3D Coat for most of my pipeline of work, but i didnt found a way to apply materials to especific meshs and polygons. As Material Editor inside Maya and Max. With this process i do the texturing inside substance or i export the model for the game engine with diferent materials applied. At this point, today, is still being not possible to do this? Or anyone know a way ?
  3. Hello guys, recently bought the update for 2021, loving to see all the news on retopo room, the most used area for me on 3dCoat older versions. I have a question because that will really speedups my pipeline. When we create a bunch of RetopoObjects, its possible to assign materials to them? Because i normally need to go to other programs to apply materials because i cant find a intuitive way to aply on retoporoom objects. If that was possible will be pretty handy to export directly to substancepainter for example and start painting there. Anyone have any tip or trick with that?
  4. Sorry i forgot to mention that's on retopo room.. snap horizontal based on the main edge. normally when you press shift, for example photoshop. That snap worked pretty well to the grid.
  5. Hey guys, there's a way to move the vertices aligneds ? Or make them snap correctly to the base line? like you know, you create a new quad, normally not aligned, its possible to create them and snap on the moment that moving or creating ? without using transform tool ?

Hello everyone i'm working in one retopo mesh that have some hard edges that 3d coat is transforming in triangle from nothing..i need to keep them quad but when i do any other move os cut on the mesh BANG, he transform the specific part in Triangle.. Even with the Quad Tool he's forcing up to create a triangle.. Its possible to turn that "auto-triangle" OFF ?
  8. Thank you very much, you took in the essence my problem!! Thanks for helping, but, even if i dont have a unwrap UVs in these mesh they will be imported in diferent UV set? Thats is a litle strange to me to understand hehehe! Because i dont want to work on uvs now, just retopo, and all new objects that i import will became a new uv set? Its possible to merge the UV sets? Thank you very much!
  9. Hello guys!! I'm really big fan of using retopology on 3d coat, but now is happening something that getting me on my nerves.. I have a model that have a lot of Insert meshs and a lot of tiny objects on the character.. Somehow i can manage some of them doing a Zremesher, like cloak and other simple modelings, but (there's come the trouble) When i import more meshs to the retopo layer tree, the active ones that was there before, become grey and its not possible to select, delete, change them, are you guys know any solution to this? Thanks :)
