It does not appear to be doing anything. Even if I delete an old face and recreate it, it is seemingly creating seams that i cant get rid of with clear seams. I just duplicated the layer and it isn't dong it on the duplicated layer. While this technically works I am still really confused why it was doing this to begin with.

I am not sure what is happening here, I started this the other day, opened it up again today and now whenever i try to connect new faces to my retopology, it is a different color with a red line between them.
