At first I couldn't get anything to happen but then it occurred to me that maybe I should hit ENTER to make the object an actual thing. So I did and it worked. Thank you.

Can someone tell me how to add an object to the splines menu? I've flattened a cube and I'd like to be able to add that as a spline to a curve in order to make belts and straps.

No. It's a 3D Coat popup. I've decided not to worry about it. I got a hint of what 3D Coat can do when I imported a mesh from Blender and started painting it. I'm gobsmacked quite frankly. 3D Coat is seriously impressive just from the little bit I was able to do. I imagine there might be Youtube tutes on how to work it.

I downloaded it tonight. 4.9.65. I imagine it's the latest.

Hi. total newbie here. I'm having a problem with the navigation tute, the very first part. After I've done the rotate with highlighted button thing, nothing happens. If I press the arrow I get a message saying "mission not complete" and if I press FINISH, I get a message saying "mission aborted". What am i doing wrong? Why can't I complete the mission when there's no clear way to do so?
