  1. I have it off in both versions and in 2024.13 it doesn't make a difference if it's on or off.
  2. I have the same problem. I use the latest 2024.13 version. When I try to handpaint, my fps goes down to 10-20 fps. I started to go back and try previous stable 3d Coat versions and found out that 2023.16 is the latest version that gives me good fps(over 200) to paint. I did'nt try each and every one in between 2024.13 and 2023.16, but I tried several stable ones. Guess I keep using 2023.16 version until this gets fixed. Hope this helps. My specs: Windows 11 64 pro on SSD AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Geforce RTX 4070TI (latest drivers updated) 32gb memory
  3. I want to upgrade my 3d Coat to get the newest version but when I click on the upgrade button, a popup box comes up and both check boxes are grayed out. Also, there's a red text that reads "Upgrade for the license is already in the cart", even though the shopping cart is empty. How to fix this?
  4. Just updated 3d Coat into newest stable version 2022.43 via the 3d Coats versions manager. Then I found out that the update deletes the .exe file so I can't launch 3d Coat anymore. Tried the "Install and check integrity of the 3DCoat 2022.43" but doesn't work.

  6. Okay I did some testing with a similar mesh I imported from Blender as in fbx into 3d Coat modeling room. First I deleted some edges from the top part of the mesh to create a similar starting point as before. I had the ignore backfaces checked on so the knife tool wont affect the faces behind the area I was working at. When I used the knife tool in perspective view mode, the same problem occured instantly. Some polygons got deleted and some extra edges appeared near the cut I performed. The problem was worse when I was in fixed angle view(back, front, left...). But when I made the cut not in fixed view, only sometimes part of the edges didn't appear at all. But when I used the knife tool in ortographic view mode, I didn't get any extra edges or bad topology or any faces didn't get deleted. So the problems seems to emerge in perspective view mode. Hope this was helpful and you look into this problem.
  7. I don't have the exact same file anymore because I started a new mesh in Blender but I can try to redo my steps with that mesh In 3dcoat. I'm able to try in a week because I'm not at my computer at the moment.
  8. When I use the knife tool to split polygons, sometimes it creates randomly extra edges on other polygons. When I try to undo it doesn't undo the extra edges it creates, so I have to manually delete the extra edges. This bug makes the knife tool unusable. Newest version in use. Same bug occured also on older versions.
  9. I had this problem a while ago and noticed when I try to clone a mesh with everything selected in "select/transform" mode, nothing happens but when I tried the clone again in "select" mode, then it worked. This was in modelling room. Layer duplicate didn't also work but didn't try if it works in "select" mode..
  10. Of course. How can I share it so only you can get it?
  11. I checked the units, it was on mm and I changed it on cm and measured the model and it was over 250cm long, so I don't think it's too small. Here's another curvature bake with wireframe enabled. I think some of those lines are weird because they don't even seem to follow the topology.. They just seem random lines. I just watched another normal baking video and I believe I'm doing everything right.
  12. I already edited both of the scan depths and have done it before with my other projects, so I believe I understand the principle behind it. I tried baking with the maya setting also, which I applied from the preferences menu but that didn't make any difference. I also added couple more support edges near the sharp edges but that didn't help either. The only thing that got me smooth curvature map, was that I subdivided the whole mesh so I got double the polygons I had before. But then again, it wasn't so "low poly" anymore. The polygon amount was over 7000 after the subdivision.
