  1. Ive set hotkeys for all trasforms, but I dont see option for trackball movement and N doesnt work. Where do I find option for trackball movement?
  2. Along with rotate on axis with a hotkey, I think trackball rotation should be added similar to blender. In blender it activates with rotation hotkey double tap.

  4. I dunno if its a bug or not, but smart material preview window updates every time you place cursor on mesh even if nothing changed, which is a bit irritating, amd distracts from adjusting smart mat
  5. when adding 5 layers to smart materials, small right icon for level adjust stop working
  6. Getting a little tired of pick pivot disappearing from transform menu. Its kinda random and sometimes get fixed after several restarts
  7. imho thread should be renamed to "Transform tool should respect symmetry" cause its more important than symm copy, but sym copy for grouped layers would be nice too

  9. Im not asking anything. Im reporting a bug with a steps to reproduce for you. I know for a fact that this is a bug cause its working normal in 4.9

  11. this is a bug. voxel remeshing behaving normal in 4.9 it is much faster(abt 5 times) and do not produce artefacts. Open program and test by yourself. Even better test - create default sphere and test this in 2021 and in 4.9
  12. This is rather bad bug, that makes making high detial meshes impossible. If you switch from surface to voxel brushes (for example after chisel/or if you use surface build up a bit) back and forth, hard edges get progressively destroyed by this operation. It seems like voxel remeshing algorithm is broken/changed from 4.9, Ive tested and this doesnt happen on 4.9. It is also much faster on 4.9 it looks like 2021 remeshes whole volume each time and 4.9 only changed part after several these operations mesh looks ugly like this. in 4.9 everything is ok. This makes any detailing impossible in 2021
  13. Say im building a mech and want to adjust proportions. This kind of operations are trivial in other programms. And this actually could be trivial in coat as you can already move several grouped layers at once -you just cant move them using symmetry. usual workarnd for this is to move volume and use symm copy, but this only wiorks with one volume
  14. ok guys I dont get what is so hard abt this. See this pic. I have 3 volume in 1 group. Say I need to widen gap beetween them. Transform tool cant do this. Currently the only way of doing it is to use pose tool with through all volumes option, that requires several more clicks, reqiuers hiding all other meshes and can be rather slow at selecting high poly meshes. also Symm copy could do only 1 volume at once
  15. it is extremly unfriendly and hard. I dont want new volumes I want press button and have symm copy executed. Also Most time this wouldnt even be needed if transform tool had somwhere option to respect symmetry while moving I dont get why I can execute move with symmetry only with pose tool
  16. bake with microvertex. view -- show displaced mesh enabled. Smart mat preview looks like this actual painting looks like this it just thick coating on top of cube. I dont get what is wrong
