  1. If there can be an option added to clamp off the ends of the muscles for creating clothing as an example then all sorts of stuff can be done. Scarfs, wraps, belts, you name it.
  2. I know there are many good modelers here and with hope even if only a couple volunteered for the endeavor this would be great. I am planning on doing this myself as well. If there are any volunteers please contact: info@makehuman.org Help MakeHuman
  3. Your all very welcome. It was a challenge but enlightening to do.
  4. Just to make things clear in the proper forum here is all of the links to my shader balls. Set 1 Set 2 Set 3 The latest is Set 4. Set 4
  5. Well, in the sense of, if i even knew what i was talking about. It would be texture images but would work using some type of image instancing were as it creates only parts of the image that is needed and the rest is produced with fractalizing/synthesizing parts of the rest. Might save on memory perhaps. I think imageSynth does something like this???
  6. This may sound silly and i don't know if it's a realistic solution but i have to wonder of image/texture synthesis might solve the matter of using mass resolution maps?
  7. Here is my third set. It's smaller but still has the goods. Set III
  8. Here is part II of the map sets. http://www.box.net/shared/cf4tko9x1z
  9. Nifty, it really does look like a type of silver when scene in a 3d context. Stay tuned for the next set.
  10. Ah, MOI. Another nice UI and well layed out to.
  11. That is one gorgeous UI. easy to read, easy on the eyes, good coloring and well laid out.
  12. Glad to be of service. I am cooking up another set, probably the same size and should have it ready tomorrow hopefully.
  13. I quickly came up with a basic UI draft but who knows if it is of any use for future UI ideas. Anyways here it is. Also take a look at this UI/functionality for the upcoming Sketchbook. Looks interesting at least. Sketchbook UI
  14. No problem and if anyone has any ideas as to what one may want for additional shader maps, let me know and i will see what i can do.
  15. Alrighty then, here are the sphere renders i created to use for making shaders. Have at it and make pretty things. Download Here
  16. I'll tell you what i can do. I will upload all those in bmp 1024 by 1024 and you all can do what ever you want with them to create new shaders. I will host them at box.net during the week, perhaps on tuesday. My PC is 4 years old so i am not going to worry about the bugs as it's probably me. Never should have given up drawing, heheh.
  17. Well i don't think i can do these shaders entirely. 3D-Coat keeps crashing on me whenever i launch a shader to choose. What i can do is provide the sphere images (What would be the best image format?) at a download service. The images themselves would be 1024 by 1024.
  18. These are some of the shaders that i plan on providing hopefully over the weekend.
  19. Nifty, i can make some shaders that could imitate interior and exterior lighting situations as well as some metals and plastics.
  20. Looking at the ability to create shaders is really gaining my interest but i would like to create some nice reflective shaders custom made from my HDRI work that i do from time to time. I could create some very nice metallic and other reflective surfaces if anyone is interested but firstly i need to figure out how this is done with 3d coat.
  21. The cloth is spectacular. Does this use the old spring method or is it more like Maya nCloth reacting like natural cloth would. To me it looks like a spring method. Love to see presets like leather, silk, cotton, wool and so on, just the basics really.
  22. InkScape perhaps? http://www.inkscape.org/
  23. These are very nice. They remind me of some of the environment maps i am making for Genetica 3 but that is all HDRI that shades the surfaces.
  24. As far as Modo goes these are all of the 2d image formats that Modo accepts so i would imagine 16bit color applies to the .TIFF, .PNG, .HDR and .EXR. .BMP .JPG .JPEG .PNG .ICO .IFF .JNG .JIF .LBM .MNG .PCX .PBM .PGM .PPM .RAS .TGA .TIFF .TIF .XBM .XPM .WBMP .HDR .GIF Adobe PhotoShop .PSD EUlumDat .LDT .IES OpenEXR .EXR
